Re: Use of PSTN equipment on ZTE modem

You can plug PSTN equipment into the voice port on the ZTE modem.

We put the same mark up on our services, if the price increased it's because of supplier increases.

There are plenty of media articles about NBN wanting to increase their average revenue per customer.

Re: NBN12 Basic Plan

You'll find that all providers will get rid of this option, as NBN Co makes this unprofitable for providers to offer.

This is not something Exetel wants to do, but we must make a commercially sensible profit.

Re: Intermittent NBN in Bondi Beach - so what's new

Then please do not use a pathetic middle man business and move to another provider that isn't coupled with a hopeless NBN...........

No one is forcing you to use Exetel, but the issues you are experiencing are almost certainly caused by your local infrastructure.

Of course our site has no indication of a problem, as it is your copper, not a general outage.

Re: Intermittent NBN in Bondi Beach - so what's new

As you should know, with ADSL, and now FTTN/B the issue is the local copper network, which is out of our control, but we do our best to work with our suppliers to fix issues as quickly as possible. If you think the service from a Chicago based web hosting company can provide a better service over yo...

Re: No longer showing phone queue status

We are all extremely saddened by the terrible events which unfolded in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday. To our many colleagues in Colombo, our thoughts and love are with you. We can’t imagine how you must be feeling. We are all extremely relieved to learn that you and your families are safe. We’d also li...

Re: 500 meters from the node, yet 20% less speed

You know that Exetel has no ability to change your NBN FTTN speed right? And that Exetel pays for the set speed from NBN with no means of paying less?

Re: Exetel Account Type

If you apply under a business name they you are considered a SMB business account, and have access to only those plans.

Corporate accounts are something else.

Re: Used to be good

Hi Gerry,

Call up the sales team and they can assist you, but the issues you are having are NBN, nothing will change with another RSP.

Re: Used to be good

Hi Gerry, We do not show local issues, we only show major issues. Why not contact our billing team once the outage has been resolved and ask them for a refund? I'm sure they would be happy to help. Not sure how the banking royal commission is relevant here, but if you feel so strongly about your tre...
