Re: log a fault no longer works

I've raised this many times, the team responsible for MyExetel continue to ignore my requests to add this functionality back.

Re: Your Exetel Fibre broadband service is ending

Hi there, This is not something Exetel wanted to do, but having 354 customers remaining on the Velocity network is not cost effective. Previously this was subsidised by our ADSL customers, as both products shared bandwidth, but with almost all of our ADSL customers now having migrated to NBN service...

Re: Ongoing outages 0701439277

It is not a business service.

Exetel resell both Optus NBN and NBN direct.

There is no customer service guarantee on the service, you waived that as part of the sign up process. If you want a backup service perhaps order the Telstra one you provided a link to.

Re: Ongoing outages 0701439277

It is not a business grade service, it is a residential (TC4) service with some hosting, and an account manager.

You are paying about $100 or so a month, a 100Mbps/100Mbps EnterpriseEthernet service stars from $350.00

Re: Ongoing outages 0701439277

I am sorry to hear about your issues, but why isn't this cafe, which relies on the internet for customers, on a business grade service?

Re: Unexpected IPv6 address change

We moved to Salesforce, but for whatever reason some people in management didn't think to add this functionality back into MyExetel (despite raising it with them).

These are Telstra wide plans, there are no options for customisation at this time.

Re: No NBN Bondi Beach since noon 16/10

Buy a proper service with an uptime guarantee if you are using your internet for your business use, these start at $400.00 a month for 100Mbps/100Mbps Enterprise Ethernet.

Re: No NBN Bondi Beach since noon 16/10

They are Sam Knows boxes which the ACCC installs to measure RSPs.

https://samknows.com/

Should we have our customers buy one of these for their services?

Perhaps just invest in a backup solution or a proper busniess grade internet link if you are using your internet for business.

Re: No NBN Bondi Beach since noon 16/10

Post the case number then............. Yes there is no real time monitoring of a RESIDENTIAL connection. Why would we record behaviour? There are far too many variables to consider for residential users, they might be away on business/trip/etc, or might have been out, etc, etc. If you want help plea...
