PSTN To VOIP and naked plans ?

Hi,

I want to move my PSTN number to VOIP.

According you the support pages in the user facilities this is possible but requires changing of the plan to a naked one. I am OK with that.

But now the naked plans seem to be gone.

Can I somehow move my PSTN number to VOIP?

Re: FAQ

It would be nice to have a hardware and/or firmware compatibility list. For example I have a Netcomm NB6Plus4W rev 1 router purchased from Exetel. It is currently at firmware 3.64y and does not support IPV6. I found IPV6 firmware for NB6Plus4 and for NB6Plus4W rev 2 on the Internode server but no fi...

Re: New connection issues

Yes, we want to get a new service at the new address while maintaining the existing service at the old address (i.e. "home"). So we have a relocation of a person without relocation of a service. It just sucks big. If a new customer going to a new place wants to get a naked ADSL he needs to order a n...

Re: New connection issues

Exetel FAQ says otherwise: Q. 8 I am moving into a new place, can I order a new ADSL service only without the telephone service component? Yes you can, the relocation process is handled by Exetel, no further action will be needed by the end user unless explicitly specified. http://www.exetel.com.au/...

Re: New Residential Members Facilities

Looks good. Few random suggestions, feel free to ignore them Glad to see the flash intro gone. Replace "To check on the progress of a fault ticket, click here." with "You have no opened fault tickets" or "You have 7 opened fault tickets, to check their progress click here". Please dont ask us to log...

Re: Content Filtering Trial

... To me this is the biggest problem with the trial - the list is secret (rightly so), small and contains no popular websites ... I think I can help with that. I created 2 small pages: http://home.exetel.com.au/vk/good.html http://home.exetel.com.au/vk/evil.html I would like to ask NetworkAdmin to...

Re: Content Filtering Trial

Well, apparently the "true negatives" test works OK, otherwise people would not be able to use the Internet. To get a "false positive" one has to attempt to access a legal site without success. This test can be at best inconclusive because there is no guarantee that a particular site that triggers a...

Re: Content Filtering Trial

Well, just for the purpose of the test (honestly!) I found the wikileaks page with the leaked Australian government secret ACMA internet censorship blacklist from 18 Mar 2009 and tried a few sites. They all worked. Which perhaps is unsurprising since the start of the test has been postponed for tomo...

Re: NEW Members Facilities Frontpage

I don't really see why that is necessary but I will add it if you really need it. I tried to explain it in the other post and I will try again now. Suppose it is day 17 on a 31days month. Suppose you used 6.620 MB out of your 12.000 plan. If you continue downloading with your current rate are you l...

You're connecting to the wrong server. Connect to temporary.home.exetel.com.au during the crossover period.
That worked fine, thanks.

Re: Tracker connection issue

eztv.ukrabel.com ukrabel.com is in a state of near non-existance. It appears the DNS records and half the whois records have been pulled. Of the 3 NS records for the domain, only two return a result and the third does not exist. The name servers for .com no longer have records for it. Wow! Somebody...
