OK, thanks for the answer.

Any idea why it was changed?

Why does the "Dashboard" still show usage month by month?

Re: Pro-rata refund at cancellation.

I appreciate your answer, but where is this written, in the T&C or any agreement made? The point is now moot (or "mute" as a workmate once said :) ): I have been changed to Spintel. I recieved an email from them this morning. Strangely, the c/o didn't even cause the modem to disconnect. I was still...

Usage Meter vs Monthly usage

I can't remember why there was a change, IIRC, it used to be the same as the billing month. But there's a difference between the amount used on the "Dashboard meter" and the actual usage for the month. I never took any notice before, but since I was leaving Exetel, I though I should check data usage...

Re: Pro-rata refund at cancellation.

Pro Rata is for the number of days. The amount of data provided will be different when on pro rata basis. If you have been prorated for 15 days of a 30 day month you will receive only 50% of the usage data. Your charge will also be prorated to that amount in such a situation. However please note th...

Re: Pro-rata refund at cancellation.

My changing from Exetel to Spintel has got me thinking about how Pro-rata is calculated on a plan of 100GB. There's no definition in the T&C. Only mentions pro-rata in 12.8 (c). So, the question: is pro-rata on the number of days, or the amount of data used? The plan I'm on is for 100GB/month. If I'...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans

Thanks Oldie1954, I suspected everything had been cancelled, but I wanted to be sure, so I put in a cancellation. I just hope now, that Exetel won't (somehow) be able to cancel my service with NetCube since they have my address details etc. As long as you've already got service from NetCube it shou...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans

Hi, How do you cancel your service? If you're transferring to another ISP, you don't need to cancel, they should do it for you. Otherwise you have to give 30 days notice. You should get back pro-rata if you change. Section 12.7/12.8, T&C. Also, If you remove your direct debit they can't take any mor...

No way is Telstra cheaper! 50GB + Phoneline = $73.00

Exetel: 50/50GB + phoneline = $45.00

Recommendations, anyone?
NetCube. I signed up today.
Logitel (500GB and calls) or Spintel (200GB and calls), or MNF (200GB) & VOIP (calls).
