Fees for changing mobile plans

Hi I just wanted to give some feedback on the cost to change mobile plans. I had a phone on the CAP19 plan and wanted to change to the M8, basically change to a plan with the same rates/inclusions but had better value. I went into the user facilities to change the plan and it said I was going to be ...

Slow response with member facilities

Just wondering if anybody elses is experiencing irritatingly slow repsonse form the member facilities? Logging in is OK but when I want to do something like view invoices it seems to take a long time before the page comes up with the list of invoices. But once it comes up the first time all subseque...

Setting IP Address for SMS

Hi, I ususally send SMSes using the user facilities from work. I used to be able to enter an authorised IP address so that I can do this without having to enter the PIN all the time. It doesn't seem to be able to do this anymore and I can't find the place in User Facilities where I would enter that ...

Then it won't meet my needs. I need something that is self contained on a windows PC. Oh well.

Is it something you are willing to share?

Re: Usage meter for HSPA

Unfortunately for HSPA there is no updated XML fed online to base an application on. I had a feeling that was the case. The unsatisfactory alternative is to scrape it off the user facility web page. That is what netusage does. I wonder why nobody is able to or willing to incorporate it into their u...

Usage meter for HSPA

I've scanned various forums but can somebody confirm that there is really is NO usage meter available for Exetel HSPA.

I know netusage is available for firefox, and I do use it, but I also have a need for a Windows desktop that has only got Internet Explorer.

Thanks,
Zikrun

Re: Authorised mobile number verification

I am the manager of SMS at Exetel, and am very sorry to hear you were not informed by email. We will have to see if we have the correct email address. You definitl have the correct email address, the helpdesk confirmed that. I looked far and wide for that email but could not find anything. If you k...

Authorised mobile number verification

The recent changed to having to authorise mobile numbers before being able to send SMS has totally stuffed me up. I only discovered this today when I wanted to send 350 odd messages today to my distribution list. I send large numbers of messages but relatively infrequently i.e. once a month. I even ...

Re: Price drop on Yagi ... is it correct

Thanks for that Dazzled but my comments were not for me but for the wider community (thanks for the links anyway). I live in Canberra so most stuff here is 900Mhz as we don't have too many of those high desnity areas needing 2.1Ghz coverage. If exetel is able to source what I believe to be the best ...

Re: Price drop on Yagi ... is it correct

but it only boosts the signal in 900mhz zones. Maybe somebody who is more knowlegeable in this area could offer some advice as to where to purchase a suitable 2.1GHz antenna and diplexer. The exetel antenna uses standard FME connectors so I assume it should be possible. @ $45 you'd be hard pressed ...

Re: Price drop on Yagi ... is it correct

It dropped last week, we are trying to increase sales of HSPA. We'll that makes this antenna awfully good value (and even before the recent price drop it was already very good value), especially when you compare the price delta with one of thase little laptop ones. I only stumbled on this by accide...

Price drop on Yagi ... is it correct

Hi,

Several weeks ago I bought 2 yagis to get better receiotion for my friend and family at $95, from a Country Broadband agent. I was just browsing the Exetel Hardware store and noticed that the cost is now only $45. Is that correct? Due to the Exchange rate perhaps?

update to SMS web pages

Hi I was just updating my address book for SMS and noticed a new look. I don't know how long its been there but I think it has only been done in the last couple of weeks or so. Anyway I tried to look for an announcement or similar but could not find anything. It seems the whole SMS part of user faci...
