I'm also getting this on the number my son uses. His phone is getting random callbacks and then text messages. We are aware of this situation as this became a wide issues with the mobile services currently. We already escalated this issue with the supplier and they confirmed these spoofing are conducted by some unknown team. There seems to be very poor communicate between Optus and Exetel. I ordered ADSL for my home last week. The original txt message from exetel said the tech will arrive at either 8am-midday - 1pm -5pm (or similar) I was HOPING for a txt message from the technician perhaps 30-60mins before they arrive...

Update

The supplier confirmed that they are still working on the Fibre link and are awaiting for further instructions from their Fibre and field Teams.

Supplier is unable to provide an Estimated Time of Restoration at this stage.
