Update:

Fibre technicians have now exposed the cable and they discovered it was hit twice. Technicians are still on site working on a fix.

Update

Patching of services to spare MSE has been completed successfully. A port (122/11) has failed to recover on the MSE, affecting few services. Port failure issue is being investigated by the IP Networks team as a separate issue.

Patching and progressive restoration work continues.

Telstra technical staff are currently working to restore impacted services.
