Re: Downloads allowances for new vs existing plans

We have always done that because of the issues involved. I would like to know what issues are involved, if it isn't secret hush hush business stuff 8) As someone with absolutely no business or IT exp I would assume when new plans become available they would be loaded to both the public website and ...

Downloads allowances for new vs existing plans

Good Afternoon,

Just saw the new download limits for 8mb services, 30GB/30GB downloads looks good. Will these plans be available to existing customers in the near future?

Show us your love :D

Re: Change from 1500 to 8192 worthwhile?

Got the speed change yesterday, found out one of the phone cables (with filter already) was slowing it down to 1700, once replaced it is now 4600.

Bargain for $5 extra.

Re: 8192/384 Plan Parameters

Well the Telstra ADSL2 pricing has been added to the members section, you think they would have updated the 8192 prices why they were there. There are no current plans to change the 8192 pricing - it has only just been done. So new customers can get the below plan 8192- TE-K $45.00 10GB Peak - 20GB...

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges

Very happy about the Telstra ADSL2, any chance for a cheaper plan/smaller download allowance?

Would like to see a $50 10gb peak / 10gb off-peak plan.

New Customer modem options

G'day everyone,

I have a friend at work who wants churn to Exetel and setup VOIP. In the "Sign up" form there is no VOIP modem option, it used to be DYNALINK 4-Port Wireless IAD. Due to the recent problems with this modem, does Exetel no longer provide this option?

Thanks
Andrew

Slow Modem

Hi, I've been with Exetel since the beginning, and have been very happy so far. I remember when it took ages to first get connected due to Telstra, and Im amazed that the churn time is only 4 working days. I recently suggested to my inlaws that they could triple their download speed and download quo...

Re: Lake Munmorah Telstra DSLAM ADSL2+?

Yeah I saw that, Computer says no (Little Britain voice). I was just wondering how it worked in regards to Exetels exchanges and whether they run through Optus or Telstras wholesale sites exclusively.

Lake Munmorah Telstra DSLAM ADSL2+?

I just checked my phone number on whirlpool and it showed that it is enabled for ADSL2  through Bigpond. I'm not sure how it works but is there any chance of Exetel offering ADSL2 at that exchange?

Legal P2P

I see alot of talk on these forums regarding P2P. With a good portion of P2P being illegal  (TV, DVD's, movies, music etc ) can anyone tell me what legal P2P content can be downloaded? Is there a certain legal site (free) to download content? With so many people using ridiculous amoun...

Piece of the action (can we buy shares?)

As mentioned previously, I love Exetel, always have, always will.

I believe great things lay in store for them, and I would like to know if Exetel will or do sell shares in their company.
