Re: New ADSL2 Plan Parameters

Will this change in off-peak be applicable to existing "modern" plans? I ask as I'm considering a move to the OTCW3 plan. If I change, I'm in a 12-month contract. Will that lock me out of the new off-peak proposals?

Re: Wireless Internet Included In ADSL Plan Prices

It does say 100MB of included data at https://www.exetel.com.au/members/servi ... _adsl2.php.

If I read the newsletter correctly, I think you need to sign up for a new ADSL contract to get the "free" wireless modem - whether supplied through Optus, AAPT services.

Re: Please Use This Thread To Advise Exetel Of Typos/Errors

Two typos on page "HSPA Service Availablilty" (http://www.exetel.com.au/hspa-service-availability.php) 1. Availablilty should be spelt Availability . 2: The line Residential Support Email: residentialsupport@exetel.com.au returns a link http://www.exetel.com.au/residentialsupport@exetel.com.au - whi...

31st of month is next Monday. Does that mean I sign up in June for a July 1 start date?

Re: Wireless Internet Included In ADSL Plan Prices

With the $5/$9 per month fee - what happens after the 12 month contract expires? Is the modem mine, or is the fee an ongoing monthly rental indefinitely?

Just looked at "Change my service" - I guess the new plans aren't up yet.

Another "me too" post!

ADSL1 (Sunshine).

It's taken me about 30 mins to get a "reply" screen to post.

Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes

If I change plans, do I keep my 2.00am - 2.00pm off-peak time (as an "early adopter" of that time-slot last year)?

Re: No internet connection this morning - now is 9:15 am

Can you leave the modem off for 15 minutes, then reconnect and see if that restores the service? Yep, that fixed it, thanks Jason. I rang home and got the kids to power down the modem before they went out - as an aside, I noted that the work ADSL1 dropped out about 20-30 minutes after your post (co...

Re: No internet connection this morning - now is 9:15 am

I lost adsl2 in Port Melbourne overnight (which was advised by Exetel and expected) but when I left for work at 10.30am there was still no functioning internet, even after numerous power off-power on of both modem and PC. ADSL and PPP lights are solid, Windows says I have internet connection at 12.3...

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)

I'm certainly interested in this offer: I have two ADSL accounts with Exetel, one at home, one at work. One is ADSL1 and I've not been able to upgrade to ADSL2 as the line is one of a number of incoming lines in rotary, so I'm certainly going to upgrade to the $55 BYO line if/when I get an invite. L...

Re: Authorised mobile number verification

You are still able to send using alpha in the sender, but first you need to verify a mobile phone number. The way this works is: You verify a mobile number, you can then set the sender as that mobile number, or as set the sender using alpha, when you set using alpha we will insert the verified mobi...

You can't half tell I'm wrestling with the "new" SMS applications. :) Ok , minor typo on the exeSMS page..... https://www.exetel.com.au/members/send_web_sms_exeSMS.php WRONG: # In the Username box, enter the username from step 5 above. # In the Password box, enter the password from step 6 above. ......
