Re: Opticomm Fibre Availability

Could not find Opticomm's info relating to their estates, but this might help for all Fibre providers across Australia. http://ozftth.blogspot.com/2008/02/australian-ftth-communities-map.html I am wondering why Exetel does not appear on the provider list on that blog http://ozftth.blogspot.com/2008...

Fibre Broadband in the forum?

Hi, while I realize it is very early days regarding the fibre trials in various locations around Australia, could it be worthwhile giving it a place in the forum. And just a note, I was watching Inside Business on the ABC this morning, and Conroy mentioned that there was a company offering Fibre in ...

I find this a fairly positive and supportive place, a good recommendation in it's self. Edit: just O/T, I can log into John's blog, but for some reason the CAPTCH...

Re: Unable to login to website

I am having the same issue, login from the front page takes me to another login, with the menu's down the left hand side, and a logout button on the upper right, but I cannot browse the user facilities, just returns me to the same login screen.

Re: What kind of mobile phone do I need for VOIP?

Some kind soul on these forum pointed me to http://www.gsmarena.com/ it has very cool search filtering for full spec's. Helped a lot in the search for a suitable phone.
Though you still need to read carefully regarding U.S. versions and European versions.

Re: Connection problem - Alcatel/Thompson Speedtouch 530

Hi all, My sister-in-law has the above modem on an adsl1 connection. Has been working fine for over 6 months but she had a phone line issue a few days ago. She lost the dial tone on her phone. Telstra sorted that out but now I can't get her internet connection back up. The LAN icon continually says...

From past experience no, more likely a reduction followed by another one, just my experience.
