Re: Change To Usage Measurement Times

I also think that having the peak period from 10pm-10am in line with the eastern states is much better so any major downloads can be started at a reasonable time of night. Also having it finish at 10am is better than noon, because any downloads don't interfere too much with normal web browsing etc....

Re: Possible Further Changes To Off Peak Period

There are no 'firm' plans to make further changes but one possible change would be:

12 midnight to 12 noon - 18 gb

1 am to 1 pm - 36 gb

2 am to 2 pm - 72 gb

or some other arrangement.
Is this going to happen ? Have any decissions been made ? When would it start ?

Thanks

Re: Possible Further Changes To Off Peak Period

I'm not too fussed if off peak periods change or not but please make it easy to follow and give us plenty of time to chage before it comes into affect.

Always happy to make the system work better for all.

Cheers

Re: "Local" Times From July 1st 2009

It will presumably be based on the Exetel POP component of the IP address, as the telephone charging zones for NSW criss-cross the land borders all the way round. This would affect daylight saving as well as Central Time. I think it is a great initiative but would like to know how they will know. I...

Re: Revisions To ADSL2 Plans

Hi As usual nice change Exetel. It looks like the plan I just changed to last month TELK (O) isn't included. Can you confirm that for me please. Still happy with the service and plan if it isn't. It is not a current plan. Is there any plan to offer a new plan for approximately the same cost and dow...

Hi Just recently moved from adsl1 to adsl2 and obviously got a new ip address. The Ip is in the range of 220.233.xx.xx and from memory this was in Sydney and being in Perth had been assigned an IP address starting with 58 for adsl1 is this not the case with adsl2 do you bypass the perth servers with...

Re: Why P2P might be slow

Hey peoples, - Port Forwarding. Have you configured this in your router? And do you also use a software based firewall? Both of these will need to have the necessary ports forwarded/opened for BT. Remember - if you configure BT to allow a maximum of 10 transfers, you'll need to forward a range of 1...

Re: $15.00 PSTN Line Rental With ADSL2 Services

On the sign up page it makes you tick the box that states "I acknowledge that an early cancellation charge of $55 will apply if i terminate my service before the end of the contract period. I hope that answers your question :) Hi I think that I agree to pay $55.00 IF the ADSL1 service is being canc...
