No, you can't keep your current number.
A pity. This is a deal-breaker in our house.
Yes, for me too. Had the number for almost 10 years and couldn't deal with informing so many people of a change/

Isn't the plan quota limit that we purchased the main part of our plan? Shouldn't we be entitled to use than WHENEVER we want? I thought the offpeak 48gb was just a "bonus". I believe your "purchased" quota should be used up in it's entirety before you start charging over-use fees. The offpeak is a...

That was the first thing I went and checked after getting the e-mail. :D

I still think it would have been better if worded differently.

Start Of Donations To Protection Projects e-mail

I just received this e-mail and the tone and language is written as if I had agreed to donate and you want to explain the delay. As I haven't made any decision about donating as yet, it concerned me. And in case anyone is wondering, yes I have agreed to receive all the notifications from Exetel and ...

That's true - last month it affected less than 1.0% of Exetel customers and in future I doubt it will affect more than 0.1% of Exetel customers. That definitely places it well in context for anyone upset by the change. I didn't get a response to my earlier post asking about the e-mail warning becom...

"right from the start" the limit was 20 gb and the period was 1 am to 9 am. Over three years it has been increased 7 times and is now 48 gb and the amount of time has increased from 7 hours to twelve hours. It's difficult to see how this "has gone backwards". I guess the point that muddies the wate...

So glad to see there is so much trust here - you have basically accused me of lying in your previous post and now ask me to prove it! Not at all, so i may know also. Perhaps you should head over to here and help that user out on how to go about it then? :-) *Edit* By the way I'm originally from cou...

But they can - that was my point. Please provide sources so i may stand corrected. So glad to see there is so much trust here - you have basically accused me of lying in your previous post and now ask me to prove it! I wouldn't have minded if you had just said you didn't know and asked for more inf...

what's the difference with me saying the same about Billions? Because of the following; I dont want to plug in a second physical phone into Phone2 jack Billions cannot allocate multi VoIP accounts to a single FXS port. Simply put 1 x VoIP account (be it DID or non-DID) per FXS port. But they can - ...

You can do it on Billions. I think it will allow more that 2. Apologies to the OP, as it is a bit OT but I just wanted to correct that statement. As the open post has stated, he has a Netcomm, not a Billion. There is a difference here if you want to make corrections. Which is why I apologised to th...

Re: Interesting....

Perhaps, However, the main point remains.. I sign up for a service, and then the service is changed after the contract is agreed on is not fair by any stretch of the imagination... According to this practice, you could sign up for an 8k, 24GB plan, they could give it to you for one day, then change...

To be honest i don't think its possible to do that with just a normal ATA, i think you need a TrixBox in order to do that - i could be wrong on that though as i haven't played much with TrixBox set ups, so someone else that has could comment. You can do it on Billions. I think it will allow more th...

Congrats to Exetel for implementing this change in a way that maximises the communication to users. A couple of questions 1. Given what has been posted about being able to update usage data closer to real time, why will the webpage come up at 47GB and not 48GB, or somewhere in-between? 2. If there i...
