Thanks for that, Closer.

I think it would appropriate to clarify that on the product page as well.

Just to follow up on this - I am correct in understanding that there is no additional charge for the VOIP account, ie it is included in the monthly ADSL2 charge? It is just the wording 100 local or STD calls at no charge if you use an Exetel VoIP service sort of reads like if you get our ADSL2 servi...

Re: Yep, I'd sign on..

Yep, a cheap incoming fax service would be great - I still run into the odd business that can only send faxes, not emails.. Would it be a local call for them to fax to me? ie is the number they would be faxing to a melbourne one, or another one that only costs a local call to send to? The DIDs are ...

In guessing, which someone from Exetel may like to confirm, that the Fax DID will terminate at Exetel not at your own premises, so you will not need to worry about autodetecting faxes. After all, it is described as Receiving Fax via e-mail so Exetel will receive it and convert it to I imagine a PDF ...

Only the firs two are $5 less and the first has a slightly lower allowance so INCPHONE A might be worth it for $5 more for some.

Thanks David.

I'm not the only one I have seen posting here with a similar scenario.

It would have been nice to get this response straight away from the e-mail I sent you guys rather than the two I got that seemed to miss the point both times.

End of contract options

Hoping someone here may be able to help as the e-mails I have had from Exetel have been less than informative. Having come to the end of my contract, I received the e-mail that said my plan is no longer available and here are your choices. One was, do nothing and you will be transferred onto the nea...

Still no news?
No - but we're making glacial progress.

What we're trying to accomplish is the ability for the customer to transfer their current number to an Exetel VoIP service.
Now that would make a difference to my decision.

I've also checked our suppliers latest list in regards to the exchange mentioned and currently it is not available. That exchange is also not mentioned in any new site plans, so for this year at the least, it's a no.
Well at least for Jon's sake, not much of that left. :D

OK, so with naked adsl2+ voip, we can make and receive calls, we can send but not receive faxes, but how about answer machines? If you can work out a way for an answering machine to work on a voip ata, or modem then sure. That should be no problem. I have one here attached to my Billion 7404VGP and...

Sorry if I have missed it but I see that this plan includes 100 local or national VOIP calls.

So does that mean the VOIP plan is included?

Which plan? (Not sure if there is much difference in plans currently)

Any monthly charge or minimum?

Hi Gidget

Thanks for that but it didn't help as it already had that.

In the end I cleared all preferences but only when I went to set name to it get everything back again.

Thanks again but I wish you could get Exetel to stop fiddling with the meter page.

Just tried the update and while the percentages and main figures are fine, the remaining time and data is not filled in properly.
