Re: Telephone Conference Room From Exetel

I dialed the Sydney access number, and entered the room number (1001) followed by # key when prompted, but it just prompts again for the room number. After the 3rd attempt at entering the room number followed by the # key the call is terminated. I'm having this problem also. If I dial in from my Ex...

Voice Address Book number matching

I've started using the Voice Address Book which is very handy but I've noticed a problem in that the same number is formatted differently on the VoIP and mobile call logs. For example the number (02) 9927 1000 appears as 0299271000 on the mobile call log but as 61299271000 on the VoIP call log. An a...

Re: Powertel plan changes?

All Powertel plans appear to have increased. Usually Exetel is not shy about promoting quota increases but I haven't heard anything about this one. Is this an early Christmas present?

Re: Increased ADSL2 Plan Allowances

The only solution, and if the need to have your telephone line with someone else is an imperative then I understand that you can't do it, is to switch to an Optus plan. I'd love to change and go naked but my understanding is that the Optus service is not available at my exchange (MNSH). My whinge a...

Not at this time.
First we get a price increase and now we miss out on a quota increase. Not happy.

Re: Stealing Other People's Property

If a government of a major democracy is involve. The legality/morality of filesharing aside, this is where I have a major issue. A fundamental basis of our democracy is the separation of powers between the parliament and the judiciary - the parliament makes the law and the courts apply them using a...

Re: Can't register non-Exetel VoIP services

Same problem here with MyNetFone. I can't even get to the MyNetFone web page.

My Exetel service is also playing up. I can call a pstn number and hear them but they can't hear me. Received calls and calls to mobiles are OK.

Re: Possible New ADSL2 Plans For New Financial Year

James sent me this link today - times may be changing in the USA which is the most heavily networked real estate on the planet: http://www.itwire.com/content/view/18568/107/ A very interesting article. The opponents to the scheme seem to be implying that ISPs should be effectively subsidising the c...
