Re: Optus tower locations ?

If you have an android phone, then you could try the "Antennas" app.

First bring it up in 3G, and download the map data, and then switch to 2G for better tower info.

Re: Off Peak Allowances

"Presenting any data to Telstra" will not accomplish anything. You can see for yourself whether there is any contention on any Exetel link from the user facilities. I'm well aware of the Exetel graphs, I look at them as required. I am much interested in real data on the Telstra links, however don't...

Re: Off Peak Allowances

How did you set that up? I'm interested in doing similar. If you have a unix/linux box, hack the below to taste: $ crontab -l 30 * * * * cd /srv/tmp && { rm -f index.html; wget -nd http://www.exetel.com.au/speed -o /dev/stdout | sed '/^2011/!d;s/[()]//g;s/KB/1024 /;s/MB/1048576 /' | awk '{$3 = $3 *...

Re: Off Peak Allowances

3) Telstra would assert that their back hauls are always provisioned fully. Telstra also publish a list of exchanges that are under provisioned. Generally speaking an end user will experience no difference - except when/if a back haul becomes under provisioned by either carrier. If Exetel's provisi...

Good to see things are working for you with CSIPSimple

Yes, Google Navigation is pretty good. I live how it will take into account projected trafic densities and use that in planning a quicker route. I'm looking forward to full offline support sometime in the future.

Re: CAP plan Voicemail/diversions not working

IIRC, when I went from WM-A to CAP35 I didn't change anything with my VM settings, and it continued to work as far as I know. I was mainly looking for the web site to work in case I needed to change something, however, just testing my current VM setup, it does seem broken, so I'll have to reset it a...

Re: CAP plan unbilled data still showing Nov/Dec/Jan data

My Mobile meter still has the cost from the old data in it, while the old data has been removed from the unbilled reports. ie my unbilled usage is about $20, while Mobile Meter shows $205. From where do you see $205.00 which URL? which part of the member facility :?: As I said above: the mobile met...

I find that the unbilled calls are fixed, however the mobile meter on the home page is still borked.

Re: edge and gprs on Android phone using MOIP

granny1, given Baldrick's statement above, try switching to exper configuration and then selecting 3G.

Since I always like to see all the options, I always pick expert configuration, so maybe that is why it works for me.
