Re: Automatically receive invoices via email

If this were to be implemented it would be useful (for me) to have the option of having the invoice(s) emailed to a different address than the main one. This is because while I look after a number of accounts/services wrt technical and plan selection, I'm not the one who pays the bills and keeps rec...

Re: NEW Members Facilities Frontpage

Looks good. I'm seeing some strangeness wrt the 'Voice Meter' though... I'm on 'INCPHONE Z' and on the new front page I'm given the option of clicking the button to 'View' the Voice Meter for my number. This takes me to a corrupt looking page. If I log into another account (which I look after) who i...

Re: Direct login URL?

If you use Firefox with the Net Usage Item extension, you can right-click the meter and select "Visit ISP usage page". That opens a new tab and logs you in to the user facilities using the username and password you've entered in the extension's preferences.

Re: Plan change without email notification?

No off-peak is a real bummer... Note that there is 1GB off-peak included (and 2GB peak) for IncPhone Y... ...that is despite the "Change Plan" page saying it is 2GB peak + 0GB off-peak, and this page http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing_adsl2.php saying that it is 1 + 1. This still needs to be f...

Re: Report Broken Links/Failed Web Functions Here

Hi,
In the user facilities, the "back" button at the bottom of the HSPA order form: https://www.exetel.com.au/members/hspa_order_form.php does not work properly (404).

Re: Help with LAN

Do you have a software firewall running on either or both of the PCs?
For instance Zone Alarm needs to be configured - adding a trusted IP address or range of IP addresses to allow print/file sharing to work.

Re: Report Broken Links/Failed Web Functions Here

This page http://www.exetel.com.au/application_status.php says that the default password to login to the Members Facilities is "password". It is not. It is the "02nnnnnnnnAB" (adsl# followed by 1st 2 letters of street name). Details... I'm setting up adsl for a friend, and have received the email en...

Re: Re:

This sounds very much like an MTU issue. HTML emails, no matter how little text you put in them are, by default, very large and so will trigger MTU issues whereas text-only emails can be small enough to fit in a packet and as such go through. Andrew Thanks Andrew. All fixed. (Mar and May look very ...

Re: Do you need to have line filters?

No. You do not need a filter - in fact you're probably better off without one if the only equipment on the line is the modem. An ADSL filter with 3 connectors (line, phone and modem) does not effect the signal passing from 'line' to 'modem', i.e. the ADSL signals pass straight through. The filter se...

Re: New Customer Diagnostic 'Tools'

I think this is an excellent addition to the user facilities. I have a question about the "Speed Test Results" section: Where do these results come from? I look after a number of accounts (ADSL1 and 2), and I see that for one of them there are a handful of result on 2 days - 1 in February and the ot...

Re: Automated phone updates

Similarly, I look after a number of connections - 2 of which I have the same email contact.

To avoid confusion, it'd be great if email's relating to pending plan changes/connections/disconnections could include the service number in either the subject or near the top of the text in the body.

Re: Usage meter is wrong

Have you checked your preferences?...
The "Net Usage Item" for Firefox calculates the "MB Remaining" based on the limit set by you.

Mine is currently working correctly: Firefox 2, Net Usage Item v1.2.188
