Re: Usage differences?
The heading of the table is still wrong. It seems to be stuck on "2014-07-28".

Re: Usage differences?
The detail ADSL usage page is showing usages from 14 Jul to 12 Aug today, no entry for 13 Aug (the last day of the current billing cycle) with a heading of "Usage - Data View Your Usage From 2014-07-28". So, that page is still broken. Please do not say I can choose the start and end dates. If the de...

Re: Usage differences?
Okay, as things stand right now. The "Monthly Progress" and "ADSL/Fibre Usage" are calculated correctly. When I checked yesterday morning, "Monthly Progress" was correctly calculated as 1/31, however, the usage was calculated from 1 July. What is wrong now is the detail breakdown of the "ADSL/Fibre ...

Re: Usage differences?
The billing cycle will remain as is. It's just your usage calculation that has been changed. The calculation will occur from the 14th of each month to the 13th of the next and you will be billed for it at the end of the next month with the rental charges. Example : Usage calculated between 14the Ju...

Re: Usage differences?
That make sense. However, the "Monthly Progress" is counted against a full month. I.e., for those that are currently billed on the 28th, the "Monthly Progress" is "3 / 30 (10%)" today, which makes erroneous comparison against the ADSL / Fibre data usage.

Re: St Leonards NSW problem early this morning
Another data point... According to my router log, my ADSL from the Epping Exchange dropped at 03:12 this morning. Due to the backoff algorithm of the router, I can only tell that the service was restored between 03:50 and 04:20. The symptom was PPP authenication failure.

Re: Usage meter showing zeo
I don't think it is fixed. My usage meter is showing zero usage on 01/05/2014 and the usages on 02/05/2014 are stuck. So unless they irrecoverably lost, I assumed, some Radius accounting data, or they are busy back processing the data; it's not fixed yet.

Re: Significant drop in speed
Well, around that time, my ADSL link was up but I couldn't get to anywhere and DNS requests timeout. Prior to that at around 17:00, I saw a bunch of DSL sync lost. After restarting the ADSL modem, the carrier came up but it was getting NO AUTH while doing PPP authenication. It usually means that the...

Re: New website glitches
It has been my opinions for many years that most web designers / coders are like children given with a bag of toys, they have to play with every available items. Lynx is still my favourite web browser but with increasing number of websites using graphics and flash to display text, without the ALT= t...

Re: Messages are being flagged as [...]
Same here. I find it annoying that Qantas Frequent Flyer mail being flagged as [Suspected Spam] using up real estate on the Subject line. While I haven't seen any mail tagged as [Marketing] while there are some I would classify as such, more so than Qantas FF mail considered as spam.

Re: Firefox error
The problem I was having with the cert on Firefox happened at the main forum page before the login. I couldn't find any option on Firefox to disable the check. Therefore, I couldn't access the forum at all. So I suspect the problem was with the cert that the forum uses. It appears to have been fixed...

Re: Annoyance with the Exetel homepage
What bugs me though is the redirection. The form action is to <a style="color:#006620; background-color:#fff9ab" class="linkification-ext" href="https://www.exetel.com.au/login/redirect.php" title="Linkification: https://www.exetel.com.au/login/redirect.php">https://www.exetel.com.au/login/redirect...

Re: Annoyance with the Exetel homepage
It's fixed on my main browser on PC. It is also working on Chrome, Firefox & the native browser on a Galaxy S4.
Thanks,
Chris.

Re: Annoyance with the Exetel homepage
I really, really hate having forced to use a specific web browser for a website. There are enough websites tailored for IE only that I found it very annoying already. No, I haven't tried Opera but I have tried Firefox, Chrome & IE. I think that is a broad enough spectrum of web browsers that demonst...
