I think you missed the word "planned". ADSL2Exchanges only lists existing infrastructure AFAIK. I can't find anywhere a list of exchanges that Optus plans to upgrade in the near (or not so near) future. I'm regional so I doubt that PowerTel will ever be an option. However if Telstra think it's worth...

Is there somewhere that shows planned Optus or Powertel exchanges? I really want to get off ADSL1, and my exchange has been ADSL2 enabled by Telstra, it'd be nice to get some idea of what the timeframe might be to get Exetel ADSL2 or whether I need to move to a Telstra reseller.

Is there any form of change management or quality analysis/risk mititiation before implmenetation? I think the point is that if there's a page there that doesn't change and is specifically for the usage meter then the usage meter should point to that one, not the "user-friendly" one.
