Re: NF/22IncTel to NF/21NoTel while in 12 month contract

Thanks Jason. So there would be a contract termination fee (at the moment on the webpage a $100.00), but they wouldn't experience any downtime. Just one day their 089xxx xxxx number is on PSTN, then the next day it's on Exetel VoIP.

Thanks, I'll forward the info and we'll have a decision :)

NF/22IncTel to NF/21NoTel while in 12 month contract

Hi, I'm about to sign my parents up to either NF/22IncTel or NF/21NoTel depending on the answers to the question below, I'd like to be able to go to the IncTel if possible. They are slightly hesitant about going to VoIP, so I'm hoping that if I sign them up to the NF/22IncTel, then buy the VoIP equi...

Re: HSPA VoIP Performance

Regarding the no ring tone thing. Sometimes I've rung someone and there wasn't a ring tone, however their phone was ringing and when they picked up everything was fine. That may have been because of my bung settings above that doggy points out is unsuitable with an exclamation :)

Re: HSPA VoIP Performance

Hi, Recently I've been having a few issues with the quality of the calls over VoIP. I'll re-read the 8 pages here to see what information I can get from everyone else's experiences. The first issue is that when I make a call using the native client to my ADSL2 Exetel VoIP number the E-66 literally c...

VoIP to mobile price cheaper via HSPA

Hi, On the webpage http://www.exetel.com.au/residential-hspa-call.php HSPA VoIP calls to mobiles are are 15c / min (plus 0.5c for data charges). On the webpage http://www.exetel.com.au/voip_planA.php ADSL VoIP calls to mobiles are 22c / min. On my user facilities VoIP usage meter seems these two fig...

Re: Cannot call Exetel voip numbers

Hi, I'm also having a peculiar problem about Exetel voip numbers. My Nokia E66 can call Telstra mobiles, and other people's landline numbers just fine. However, when I call my Naked ADSL VoIP number from my HSPA VoIP number, my Nokia E66 crashes and restarts itself. If the Naked ADSL phone is off th...

Re: Are there any issues with the Optus Network ATM?

My Nokia E66 mobile phone cannot connect to the Exetel HSPA service today. I've tried connecting the native VoIP, surfing the web with the browser but none seem to work. I've even turned the phone off and on again but still a no go. I can call the phone's 04 number and it can call other phones via n...

Re: Several VOIP queries/suggestions....

1) Is it possible to allow the dialling of the + code/symbol? I'm using SIP via Fring with the new Exetel HSPA service, but it uses all my mobile phone contacts that are inputted as +612........ for Sydney numbers etc, so I can dial it anywhere worldwide, however the Exetel SIP server won't accept ...

Re: Change To Usage Measurement Times

Now if I had seen any talk of there actually being a problem with WA's peak approaching limits because of our generous 10pm off-peak start time (9pm in summertime!) Was not this the greatest part of being in WA with Exetel's service. It was, until the drongo politicians thought that WA needed anoth...

Re: Change To Usage Measurement Times

Hi, Yet another Perth person, I really did enjoy the 10pm off-peak start :) Though the more I think about it, the more it doesn't matter. So my downloads start 2 hours later. It encourges me to go to bed instead of waiting a little longer for a download to finish. The benefit is I have until midday ...

Re: Exetel's Suggestion Box

Glad to see the suggestion box has been such a productive customer improvement tool. It reminds me of a story I heard (that's what brains do) where Toyota's employees were allowed make suggestions. Micro changes if you will. One guy's suggestion was to change the sound the door made when it closed. ...

Re: Fring/NimBuzz Replacement

Hi, I've been trialing Exetel HSPA on a Nokia 6110 Navigator using Fring and ExeVoIP. Both phones are in Perth, one is a Naked ADSL2+ and the other on the nokia. Calling between the ADSL VoIP and a Telstra phone I get about a half second delay. Calling between the ADSL VoIP and the Exetel mobile num...

Yeah, next time it happens I'll make sure I lodge a ticket.
