Re: ADSL2 inc phone application rejection

Hi, I'm in the process of moving and got this ADSL2 TRANSMISSION LOST TOO HIGH rejection. I believe I'm on Kellyville East exchange (based on the guy that connected my phone), which may be a separate issue. When I checked the link to exchanges in the above post - it tells me that Optus is "Optus No ...

Re: Moving home and changing from ADSL 1 to ADSL2

hahaha, I'm feeling like a newbie...you've added too many options to your web site since I last moved house. I found on the user facilities - the option to relocate my service (ADSL/Move ADSL service to a new location). Is this relevant as I'm moving from DSL1 (TELJ) to DSL2 (INCPhoneB)? I do know I...

Re: Moving home and changing from ADSL 1 to ADSL2

ah...another moving question.

Is there a way to keep my e-mail running between "cancelling" and "installing" between premisis - the duration will be short - basically I'll have the new app ready for when the Telstra make their move on 2/5.

Re: Netcomm NB6PLUS4W Question.

Thanks for the replies, I will have to do some more research, I mistook the unit as the "all in one" from another forum post.

Netcomm NB6PLUS4W Question.

I'm looking at moving from Engin/VB3 to Exetel/Netcomm NB6PLUS4W. I use a Uniden cordless system (1 base + 2 handsets) older version of the WDECT 3355 +2. One really annoying thing with the VB3 is that an inbound PSTN call takes about 4 rings to switch through the VB to then start the phone ringing....

I'm in a similar position, I am moving to my new place and want to confirm a few things. I am ADSL1, I want DSL2, with phone. Not the naked one, a clothed one it just fine. I will be keeping the same number on the same exchange (Kellyville). It's a new house, never been connected. So, the sequence i...

Hmmm, I brought my VB3 from Hardly Normal a few years back, it has been swapped out a couple of times from Engin to fault fix.

Is there a process to unlock them?

Just some interesting observations and tips, I've learned through having to move, twice in <6 months. - When you move, you are going to be subject to a new 6 month contract - despite being with Exetel for >6 months (actually it's >12 months!!), that doesn't appear to count for anything - even if you...
