Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued
Perhaps - for yet further clarification - how would someone request it? Will it be in the application form or will an email need to be sent? Can the request be made at any time after the change to the OCV plan or only at time of application? And while the manual porting process occurs, will the PST...

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued
Any chance I can get an answer on this one? What is the manual process required to port my VOIP (Old PSTN) back to PSTN on the new plan? Regards, Beau - It's nothing you have to do in particular apart from letting Exetel taking care of it.I say its manual because there are no automatic backend proc...

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued
quick question. why are the OCV plans under 'naked' adsl? unless im incorrect (if i am can someone correct me? because it means i've misunderstood a lot of this thread) the new ocv plans reactivate the pstn line so its not really a naked service. would it be more correct to call it a adsl2+ bundled...

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued
1. I currently have a Helstra PSTN line that is seperate to my Naked ADSL. Looking at the Q&A above, does that mean it would be possible to port that PSTN number as the PSTN number on the new service? 2. If I port my wifes mobile (Vodafail) to one of the included cap plans, can I "upgrade" it to th...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans
No, it just means we will reactivate the PSTN with no inconveinence to you or downtime.,So, are the OCV200 plans Naked? The documentation is confusing. It seems to suggest that the pstn will be reconnected. Is there an equivalent of the old Notel plan with voip as an add-on?

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued
I am on a NAK2A plan, currently being hit $53 per month, with the line provided by Telstra. I am thinking of converting to the OCV200 plan for $60 a month with some free ordinary phone calls. A bit later I will add an optus mobile phone and trial that. I leave my modem connected 24/7. If I change p...

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued
That is interesting. Does this mean there is no contract break fee if you move within contract? If that is the case, can you guarantee that for the duration of the contract? What is the relocation charge? There should not be any. I am confirming this but if you move, there should be no charge. In m...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
Hi, I am happy to proceed with the changes (either OCV200 or OCV200/19) however I would like clarification on a few points. (Our current exetel service is: NF/22NOTEL) 1a) I am living in a unit above a shop and i believe (in the past at least) that optus would not provide services for these types of...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
Forum Admin can confirm but I believe;1) If you choose to stay on your current plan and pay the additional $10 fee, is this on top of the current admin fee of $3.00?
2) If you choose to change to the new plans will there still be a $3 admin fee?
1 - Yes with respect to old plans.
2 - No.

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
Hi, Hi Admins, When porting naked number back to original PSTN i know this takes time but: 1) is there a fee? 2) Also can this option be added in our members section for those moving back to this non-naked OCV200 plan. 3) can our voip have the same number as our PSTN too Thanks admins, Also all read...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
Yeah just checked... I changed over to the OTAA plan in December (last month)... because I got a bit of a shock in Nov when I checked our usage... I wasn't keeping an eye on it :( (Damn you ABC iView! ) and found we were going WAY over our 8GB peak limit (which we were paying $55/month for -...

Re: Naked users forgotten?
Hi, 1) Are the local and national calls timed? 2) Is there a limit on the amount of free calls that can be made per month? 3) Are the free calls to Optus mobiles timed? I note they are subject to AUP. What is this? 4) If I don't bundle the mobiles to the plan now, can I do it at a later stage of the...

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers
Guys,
Just to confirm;
The plan increase is cumulative and the $3.00 admin fee stays as is.
As confirmed by ForumAdmin as well.
