I have a Draytek 2700VG and it is as solid as a rock. Excellent VOIP quality and p2p performance. By and by, Drayteks are quality gateways.

That makes sense. In any case, Billing will credit me the $3 on next month's invoice.

Case closed. :)

Re: Odd number displayed on international Caller ID

I just had a phone call from my father holidaying in Europe. He called from his mobile phone in Izmir, Turkey. The displayed Caller ID no. was 0011563000. This was such a bad connection he called back, only this time the CID number displayed was 0011111000! These numbers have no relationship to the ...

Re: Email dates keep changing

Like I said, Windows Mail handles the messages OK. WM probably sorts on the received date if no Date: field is present. My e-mail client does the same too. Here's one that's OK: Which has a Date: field Here's one that's not: Which doesn't. It's odd that your UPS doesn't always set a Date: for all i...

Re: Email dates keep changing

Here's a header: The problem is there is no "Date:" header in the messages sent by your UPS. I used to have a similar problem you describe with my bank's automated messaging service, which also had no Date: field in their messages. When I complained about this to the bank they fixed it and all was ...

Re: ADSL2+ + VOIP -> NADSL2

Just a follow-up on my migration from INCPHONE B to NONPHONE A NADSL2+. The changeover took place at the beginning of September (I recall I did read somewhere during the application this would be the case). So depending on when in the month you make the application change-over could be up to a month...

Can you post the full header of one of the "bad" e-mails? Maybe there's something non-standard there.

Re: C10-100E Central Splitters

My ADSL2 speeds are currently appalling, and I think it may be due to the 5 telephone outlets I have in my home. Are these just outlets or is something connected to each one? If so, this is likely your problem, you have too many devices connected, overloading the exchange. The REN for exchanges is ...

Re: Is there a 2 hour time limit?

An update on this. I went through the Help Desk, and this was their reply: Thank you for the log Steve. I think the problem could be related to session timer on our switch. I've just reprogrammed it and we're going to monitor it for a while. Sometime, this problem could happen when the our switch th...

Do you have a Caller ID display? That will at least display the incoming number, if not blocked.

Re: Issue forwarding ports

An odd one. I have Vista x64, no problems whatsoever here.

Do you have uPnP enabled? Try disabling it, maybe it's doing something funny to your router.
