Re: Reductions In Wireless Broadband Plans

I think you're getting 20 (30?) free SMS and 100 free local voip calls. well if I am then I am a goose, cause I am using my adsl voip service (exetel), which doesn't have the voip and the free sms! I just can't keep up with all these changes and inclusions - how can I check if I am meant to be gett...

Re: Mobile Phone Pricing Page

However, in the User Facilities, it is: "Included Calls In Access" It should be "Included Calls in Monthly Minimum" We will clarify it in the members facility. Actually, I was saying the website for new users did not mention the included calls - here: http://www.exetel.com.au/mobile_plans.php I und...

Mobile Phone Pricing Page

Mobile plans through the Vodafone network get call credit equal to the monthly minimum spend. But this is not made clear on the website: http://www.exetel.com.au/mobile_plans.php However, in the User Facilities, it is: "Included Calls In Access" Is this a mistake, or do the new plans not get call cr...

Re: Withdrawal Of Free Included Services On Older Plans

I'm not sure how to make the situation any clearer. From March 1st free SMS, free Fax and Free VoIP inclusions will no longer be available. Just to confirm, this refers to all plans?....the original email only mentioned ADSL 1/2. So (old) HSPA plans - like my HSPA M1 HA - will not be getting free s...

Video Calling

I'm trying to make some video calls, as it is mentioned in the prices/rates: http://www.exetel.com.au/residential-hspa-call.php Now I'm sure the other phone has video calling (its an Exetel/vodafone service)....but I can't get it to work. Are there special settings I need to check, or is Optus block...

If it helps anyone, an Exetel engineer called today fixed the problem. There was some issue with local call routing...all fixed now.

Re: VoIP Dialling Problem

If it helps, you can use the following dial plan: |<:0011612>[89]xxxxxxx|<02:0011612>[89]xxxxxxx| which replaces 02 with / or adds 0011612. Hmmm! Would this also be applied to Pennytel in the gateway which I use to dial overseas? I don't think so, since your existing dial plan probably has somethin...

Hey c'mon, that's not cool.

We used to get prank calls before going Silent.

flippit: I can't answer why, but I can say that it also happens to my silent number (which is with Exetel/Optus).

Re: VoIP Dialling Problem

Anyhow, I've also mentioned in my earlier posts my Exetel number is also returning the engaged tone when I attempt to make calls with the x-lite softphone. I think this suggests that my number has somehow been crippled and that has been suggested to be the case in an earlier post here. The worst as...
