Seriously though, Whirlpool has become full of complaints, esp the ISP sections. I'm sure this guy did complain there, like numerous other people opening useless threads. (sometimes with a useless pole!!)

On the email2fax details page, it says custom SMS query instead of FAX

Windows Home Server

I've just set up a testing Windows Home Server. For remote access, the server needs ports 80, 443, and 4125 (which I have forwarded to the server). But I'm still unable to access it remotely. Does exetel block https port 443 to my connection? This is one possible cause suggested by the windows help....

Certainly something has been done.

Pings to Internode TF2 server = 20ms :D
Before, pings to Exetel were over 100ms (those dark times)

Hope the better speeds stay :)

I agree. Right now, I'm downloading from gametrailers.com and getting speeds of 450KB/s :)
But in the evening, even logging on to this forum takes time.

I know it's probably due to work being (not) done by optus.

Blacktown Exchange

Hi Exetel,

Any updates on the Blacktown exchange?
I think work was supposed to have been done on 30 Oct.

My speeds do seem better in the day, but after 7pm, everything slows down. (A consequence of upgrades maybe??)

I'd appreciate any news/updates.

Thanks

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Just out of intertest, does changing the profile require much work on Exetel's part?
Is it a phone call to Optus, or some setting on a computer?

Once again, thanks for the instant reply James D.
