Re: Regional DIDs

Maxie, you can't get a naked service in Nowra, so there is no necessity for a local DID for an ordinary residential service. The lack of DIDs for small centres only stops you from having effectively a second local line through VoIP. I disagree, I am an agent in a small centre & can't ever see a day...

Try your local agent if they are participating in the regional TV project, which you can locate at http://www.countrybroadband.com.au/stockists.php

Re: Transfer Your Current PSTN Home Number To Exetel VoIP

Will the PTSN transfer be available to Exetel HSPA customers at any time in the near future? - Not at this stage, and unless advised otherwise is unlikely as the different carriers people use, as well as any additional services they may have on their telephone line would also be completely gone as ...

Re: Transfer Your Current PSTN Home Number To Exetel VoIP

Question - If I take a Brisbane DID now, can I change it to a Sunshine Coast DID when they are available, or can I port my Telstra number to be my VoIP number later (replacing the DID), when porting is available? I realise I would need to keep my Testra line alive until it is ported. I have Exetel ...

Re: Transfer Your Current PSTN Home Number To Exetel VoIP

Any idea on time frame for current ADSL1 customers with a HSPA service?

I am looking forward to an end to my Helstra bills.

When it is available (say from my HSPA user facilities), I will cancel my ADSL service, then apply to port my pstn number to voip.

Re: Fring/NimBuzz Replacement

Whats the cheapest 'trial' we could have to go through the exetel 3g optus network for a month to see how that compares? $25 to signup, $5 per month for the plan + your usage, first GB is $15 (charged by the kb I think from memory), the usage equates to around 1.5c worth of data usage per minute of...

Re: HSPA FAQ

 Hi, I have followed link instructions to enable exetel1 HSPA but the modem fails to find the Optus signal. The modem stays in the searching stage. when I checked the software it was searching in the 850mhz and 2.1ghz bands; is this correct. Anyone any ideas where I may be going astray. thank...
