Re: Optus per minute plans question
yet another (that makes 3) email today from exetel about this, and still providing no further information. noticing too now that the emails contain inaccurate information about the 'Mobile 2' vodafone plan, starting with quoting 22c per sms message. i've paid 15c per sms for a very long time now, an...

Re: Optus per minute plans question
It would also be useful to know how the data is charged. the vodafone plans require a minimum data session of a certain amount of data before it starts being charged, so on my bill there might be multiple short sessions that aren't charged because the session didn't use enough data. do the optus pla...

Optus per minute plans question
Apologies if this question has already been asked. I have been getting emails from exetel about porting my exetel vodafone service to an exetel optus service. currently my vodafone service includes a minimum spend, but that also gives me that minimum spend worth of calls, data etc. the optus plans a...

Re: optus ull churn options
the contempt dripping from this obvious comment is reason enough to further consider plans to churn. silly to ask for recommendations here though i suppose.James wrote: Another ISP using Optus infrastructure.

optus ull churn options
if theoretically i wanted to churn/fastchurn away from exetel to another isp, what options do i have or how can i begin to research my options (if any) if i didn't want to connect an active pstn line with telstra. is there a collection of isps that can churn an exetel optus naked adsl2 line, or is o...

Re: fetchtv?
watching free to air tv via IPTV does appeal to those who live in digital signal dead areas (which includes a lot of people in inner city areas too), and for whom the only other option would be very expensive satellite or cable tv. from a user perspective the technology and setup would be significan...

No data consumption usage data
hello,
there appears to be no data consumption on my exetel via vodafone service so far this month. is there an issue with this service?
thanks

Re: $10, for what?
I'm sure the fancy new user facilities wasn't cheap either. However I'm not expecting exetel to impose a 10c per login to that, just because they don't have to justify it.

Re: $10, for what?
I have adsl2. There is no speed changes or any non-automated intervention required to change plans. Seems a high price to pay for a few clicks of an automated process...

Re: $10, for what?
Questioning a decision or disagreeing isn't flaming. The point of a web forum is to enable this communication.
I've said my peace. Exetel will do with it what they will.

Re: $10, for what?
If exetel was actually offering or providing something tangible, then it would be justifiable. I don't much like paying for something when i receive nothing. To suddenly find things to charge for isn't very reasonable, is it? Exetel has engaged in 'plan creep' for a while now, increasing the downloa...
