Re: New billing cycle, still capped????

if you could PM me your service number, I will get that checked for you Hi. I was able to get in to my member services and raise a support ticket. It's all been sorted now (I was removed from the shaping pool). I do have another question though - I was asked to power cycle my modem. Surely I don't ...

New billing cycle, still capped????

Hi, I would have raised a ticket through the members facilities, but they currently seem to be offline. Basically, my new billing cycle starts today, but I still appear to be capped from last month (100k). Just wondering if someone from Exetel could please check out what's going on form me? Many tha...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans

Hi Brad, If you have received a telephone transfer completion confirmation from Exetel, you may contact your previous Telephone service provider and inform that the line is now transfered to another provider and you would like to close the account with Tesltra so that you will not be billed by them...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans

My final question is, are Exetel just an Optus reseller? I ask, because I don't have access to any of the Optus Internet plans, so does that mean I can't have access to them as a phone carrier? -Yes Exetel is an Optus reseller as well as AAPT and Telstra for residential grade ADSL services. -You ca...

Re: New Bundled ADSL/Wire Line/Mobile Plans

Hello, I have some bundling questions. Currently, I have ADSL2+ with Exetel. I'm on a Tel$ra plan, as that's all my exchange allows (unfortunately). My home phone is provided by Telstra too, regular old PSTN phone. I'd like to look at bundling my home phone with my ADSL2+. Can I do this? Do I get a ...

Re: Going from ADSL1 -> ADSL2+ Need to do anything?

We have arranged the refund and sent to you an email with reference 5549994. Please reply to the same email if you have further concerns. Hello, I've received the email detailing my refund. Not quite what I was expecting, but not worth worrying about. Especially since you have all been so helpful. ...

Re: Going from ADSL1 -> ADSL2+ Need to do anything?

Hi Brad, The speed change has been completed now and I have already forwarded the ticket (5549994) to the billing team. Hi Steve, I can confirm the speed change has taken effect. In case anyone is interested, I'm getting 17Meg line sync, which I consider 'ok', considering I'm only 700 metres from t...

Once the speed change is completed, I will check this with the billing team and let you know.

I have created a ticket (5549994) in order to follow this up for you :)
Hi Steve,

Thank you again. I appreciate your efforts to help me out.

Re: Going from ADSL1 -> ADSL2+ Need to do anything?

Hi Steve, Thanks for finding that out for me. One thing though, I'm paying for this service now (since the 20th), but I won't be able to use it until the 04/09/12. That's a bit rough isn't it? Am I entitled to a bit of a discount for the month or something? Perhaps waiving of the $20 plan change? Ch...

No need to do anything from your end with regards to this speed change. However I will follow this up for you and let you know once the change over is completed.
Hi Steve,

Thanks for that, I really appreciate it. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Brad

Re: Going from ADSL1 -> ADSL2+ Need to do anything?

Hi nuranj,

Thank you for looking in to this for me. Just to be clear, do I need to do anything at my end? Will I need to reboot my modem or anything?

Cheers,
Brad

Going from ADSL1 -> ADSL2+ Need to do anything?

Hello, I was on an ADSL1 plan and have just upgraded to an ADSL2+ plan. I did this yesterday, the day before my next billing period. According to my user facilities, the change is ACTIVE. My speed hasn't changed yet (line sync that is), but I think I read somewhere it can take up to four days. My qu...

Re: P2P - Am I being throttled?

Hello, Can anyone from Exetel tell me if my P2P is being throttled? If someone from Exetel can PM me, I'm happy to give my details. I'm trying to work out why (all of a sudden) my P2P performance is so terrible. I just want to rule out the cause being Exetel throttling me. When I go to speedtest.ne...

Re: Change of plans confusion.. HELP!

Please make sure you pick the option to 'not to include the PSTN'. You will see the call charges on the confirmation page but it is only to show the charges disregarding whether you have picked PSTN or not (if this is confusing I will inform a manager to remove this if they confirm), if you are not...
