Re: Are CAP plans pre- or post-paid?
Thanks for the quick answer.
Do you also know if there is a specific account number for each mobile service, apart from an ADSL service they might be connected with?
Thanks.

Thanks.

Are CAP plans pre- or post-paid?
Are Exetel's mobile CAP plans considered pre- or post-paid?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: July Z* mobile specials
I am currently on the CAP19 plan and the Change Plan form says there is a $50 plan change fee to go to the Z8 plan? As there is a $10 rebate towards the ADSL cost with the CAP19 plan it seems pointless changing to Z8 to save $1 per month while there is such a large fee to change... or am I missing s...

Cancel ported service?
I received emails for several of my Vodafone mobile services advising that I needed to change plans due to low usage or port away. I ported away but have still received reminder emails about the services. I advised Exetel and was told I should cancel the services via the User facilities. Is this nor...

Re: How To Improve Mobile Broadband Sales?
As an example... our family of 5 mobile users could ideally be combined on a single CAP75 plan. ...... Unfortunately the constraints of our wholesale plans preclude this. Sadly, I'm not surprised. The wholesalers would seem to be profit-focused, not particularly customer-focused. If only they reali...

Re: How To Improve Mobile Broadband Sales?
"'joint' usage of data and voice mbs and voice minutes could be used in a 'family' environment where the usage provisions on separate plans could be aggregated? " If that is implemented well then it would be a good drawcard I would think. As an example... our family of 5 mobile users could ideally ...

Following the suggestions given here I think it may be a faultyfilter. I'm borrowing one to check.

Noisy line
I am on the OCV200 plan so Exetel is my voice service provider (I believe). I'm just wondering what to do about a noisy phone line... crackling etc. It is causing drop out and sync speed issues with ADSL also, but the main problem at the moment is the noise while on a phone call. What do I have to d...

Brisbane issues?
I have been having a lot of dropout issues today, plus my connection speed is well down on normal. The Network Status page at http://exetel.com.au/a_network.php says 'Queensland/Brisbane Services' for Network issues. Is there any known network issues in Brisbane at present? I am on the SPNE exchange...

Re: OCV200 peak / off peak ?
The Peak/Off-peak distinction has been removed from the User's Home Page, however, the Monthly Progress graph is only updating for data downloaded but not day of the month... it is still showing as 1 / 28 (4%) for February.

Re: New Plan not started
My service status indicates I am now on the OCV200 plan but I also didn't receive any email with a new PSTN number. I've received two other usual emails from Exetel this morning so there is no problem in that regard.

Re: Naked users forgotten?
I assume this means that my current voip number can become my new PSTN number... if so, how do you ask for it to be done? (I couldn't see any means to ask for it in the application process).paulp wrote:Q15. Can I port my number to one of these plans in conjunction with ADSL2?
Yes you can.
Thanks.
