Re: Manage Services - Add On Services

The new menu choice, Manage Services - Add On Services , in the User Facilities menu has one choice, Order Services , however, it is currently pointing to the page for relocating an ADSL service, ie. https://www.exetel.com.au/members/relocation.php I suspect it's not ready yet, it was mentioned in ...

Re: Reductions In Wireless Broadband Plans

WM A is a mobile plan that provides mobile telephony services at the rates stated and data services at the rates stated. But on the 'Change plan' page under the HSPA menu in User Facilities it says 'HSPA PLAN PRICE (Via USB 'Stick' Used In Desktop or Laptop - Data/VoIP Only)' for the 'WM A' plan. I...

Re: Frequent dropouts Brisbane

I'm also in Brisbane (Strathpine exchange) and have been having frequent dropouts for the last month or so. On my Billion 7404 I changed the Connect mode from ADSL2+ to ADSL2. This has resulted in fewer dropouts but they still occur frequently enough to be annoying, particularly as I use VoIP. I was...

Re: Reductions In Wireless Broadband Plans

Hi ForumAdmin I'm on the M1 plan and was wondering if I want to get this new WM A plan, I have to pay an additional $25 due to the imposed refund fee? and I have to fill out some porting form? Cheers You can change to WM A plan via HSPA member's facilities. That's good to know but the information o...

Re: Reductions In Wireless Broadband Plans

I think the confusion here is that the M1 Plan is not actually HSPA, it is one of Exetel's Vodafone Plans! The HSPA Plans are provided via the Optus network. HSPA M1 was the name of the earlier Optus based HSPA service with phone calls, it was $5 per month access and 1.5c per mb for the first gb, 2...

Re: Reductions In Wireless Broadband Plans

Does this change apply to the old plans? ie. HSPA M1 - HA that I am on. It's the same plan just a different name I'm pretty sure. In my user facilities it still says I have a $5 access charge so I assume it doesn't, but there is no way in the user facilities to change my plan. These changes aren't ...

The Current Month's ADSL Usage graph on the front page says 70 GB Peak already... not 60.

Re: Fring/NimBuzz Replacement

I am now using the final beta version and I, and no other test users, have any quality issues. There is some feature discussion but we will probably be able to deliver before Christmas....if everything goes to plan. Are any of the test users using a Samsung mobile? The previous release wouldn't wor...

Re: 000 emergency ambulance - police - fire

I am on a naked plan and therefore do not have dial tone on my normal phone line. I have setup a GSM mobile located centrally in our home purely for emergency use. However, as we have a number of cordless phones throughout the house (connected via VoIP) and in an emergency seconds wasted may be cruc...

Was that meant to be a question? In the meantime the problem seems to have been solved here.

Unable to connect to various sites

This morning I'm unable to connect to a number of sites.... eg. http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/ http://www.news.com.au Many other sites are working fine. Is there a problem with any particular links at the moment? I'm on ADSL2 in Qld. EDIT: news.com.au seems to have started working... others are st...
