Re: SMS Price Increase

With the increase in SMS price from 5c to 8c this month, and the number of free SMS being kept at 30, I was wondering whether the system which determines when you run out of free SMS credits is based on the number of SMS messages sent or a credit value expiring? The reason I ask is that I have sent ...

Re: ExeSMS application for Mobiles

I've been using ColbySMS for the last couple of days, and I can confirm that you can access the contacts list - and much better than exeSMS, as you can search names. My main annoyance with ExeSMS was that it wouldn't strip non-numerics from the mobile number as it is stored in the Contacts list. My...

No... unfortunately. That would be one of the improvements I'd like to see.

Shady... there are three more incorrect references to it still on the FAQ page. Just search for '16'.

Cheers.

Mobile Billing Period

On the main Mobile page the Billing Period is "from the 1st to last of the calendar month". However, on the Mobile FAQ page it is listed as from "the 16th of the previous month to the 15th of the current month".

I assume that the main page is correct and the FAQ page is in error?

Re: Revisions To ADSL2 Plans

As an email has already gone out it might be best to follow it up with one clarifying exactly who gets the additions and who doesn't. I know the email referred to 'current' plans but the term 'current' is itself ambiguous when you consider that someone on an older (no longer available) plan might co...

You could try ColbySMS... I find it to be better than ExeSMS.

Porting from Exetel to Exetel

To port from an existing Exetel HSPA mobile service to an Exetel per-minute mobile service is it just a matter of treating it as porting from any other provider? In other words, there is no special arrangement?

Thanks.

Re: ExeSMS application for Mobiles

I noticed earlier in this thread that there was a question as to whether this application would run under Windows Mobile. My daughter recently tried to install it on her Samsung Omnia (WM 6.1) and it failed with 'errno=910'. Is this because it isn't [yet] compatible with Windows Mobile? Is anyone su...

3G data on Vodafone per-minute plans?

Is the access for the data add-on plans for the per-minute plans (Vodafone) via 3G (if in a 3G area) or GPRS only?
