Every single install of ExeSMS1.5 I've done for the last year or more has thrown up that second error; but they always work. The first error I've only ever seen something similar if I try to use it and the modem is not properly connected and is doing the 'replace all pages with info about what's wro...

Thunderbird 3 is working fine for me, and my other half too. SMTP hasn't been a problem. Normally SMTP issues are related to MTU issues. You could also check if your antivirus product is intercepting outbound mail :)

Mine's an E169.

You could try http://www.huawei.com/mobileweb/en/doc/ ... -1&id=4381 but that's for the E169 - not sure if they have what you want.

It's also possible to connect to the Internet without using the Wireless broadband software client, and that usage will not show in the client.

I think the key is to check where you have the radio button in the "Edit" column before clicking the Add / Edit button :) You're nearly there!

Not sure. I suspect they send you a new SIM card.

I'm pretty sure they SMS and Email you if they detect inactivity for a long time, so there's probably no need to set a calendar reminder in Outlook ;-)
