Re: Routing issues?

Still the same issue this morning, and looks like I'm not the only person to be having a similar issue: https://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=284&t=39321&p=299658#p299658 If I tether via iPhone, everything works perfectly, leading me to believe that it is an Exetel related issue. Is there anyt...

Re: Unable to access a website

I'm having the same issue with google.com and international variants.

Works perfectly tethered from my iPhone, but not via ADSL.

I have reset every device possible, but no luck.

Re: Routing issues?

Sorry, went out to dinner and decided to switch the modem off to allow time for the DSLAM to reset itself. I would prefer not to allocate a new IP at this point if possible, as I have a few services relying on it that are a pain to change. Modem is up and running again and I will test over the next ...

Routing issues?

Just wondering if something has changed with routing in the last ~24 hours? I cannot get to Google.com (or .com.au) >90% of the time, however most other sites appear fine. iPad and iPhone will not connect to Draw Something servers, and DropBox will not authenticate. Reset modem and other devices, bu...

Re: Billing Date Change

Looks like I'm on the list of forced users with zero notification.

What will happen to usage quotas with the billing change?
Will they still start on the first of the month, or changed to be on the same day as billing?

Re: Issues in Wollongong (ADSL2+ / Optus)

I know of someone in Hemmant having issues with ADSL (another provider) due to the rain, so it could be related to your issues. The weather just hasn't given you guys up there a break has it? So far, so good with my connection. Not sure what the tech did, but it seems more stable than this morning. ...

Re: Issues in Wollongong (ADSL2+ / Optus)

Ooh, I did the exact same thing too (requested plan change 2 days ago).

I've logged a fault ticket and apparently they've changed something on my account. Just need to turn the modem off for a little while to reset the line and see what happens.

I'll update the thread with any developments.

Issues in Wollongong (ADSL2+ / Optus)

Just wondering if there are any service issues in the Wollongong region this morning? Been having all sorts of odd issues since arriving at work. Several disconnects and general slowness to the network. Powered down and reset all hardware, checked all cabling, and started back up but still exhibitin...

Re: Sync/Connection issue

The issue has now been rectified. The client was on support calls all morning to Exetel and the problem mysteriously "went away" whilst on the call.

Sync/Connection issue

Are there any engineers in the house today? A client of mine had their ADSL drop out yesterday. They called phone support but were unable to get it going again (techie claimed everything was okay at Exetel's end). I went onsite today briefly to check out the situation. All cables & configurations ap...

Seems that a lot of 8mbps users are affected without explanation so far.

Exactly the same here ilce.

What's the deal? Are 8mbps users being throttled now?
If so, that's something I can't handle, as I require the speeds for connecting to work. I sure hope this is resolved before business hours start again for the week.

I've reset the modem twice, done all the usual checks, but to no avail. I have to concur with alburyman...
