Re: Where can I find newsletters

Thanks, I got the email.

I managed to find the email newsletter. For reference, the SEP 2012 issue is: http://www.exetel.com.au/email_graphics ... ember.html

Re: New PDF Invoice not displayed correctly

Surely everyone should have Helvetica and Courier (or clone fonts) on their system?

BTW, I just downloaded my PDF invoices and they seemed fine. According to Acrobat reader, they only use Helvetica and Helvetica-Bold - which are replaced by ArialMT clones on my Win7 machine.

Re: Where can I find newsletters

Can someone provide some links? I think I deleted the email and would like to show it to my brother (to order wireless broadband, maybe) - some quick web searches and I can't find them.

phone/internet contract ending soon

My 12-month phone/internet contract will end soon (plan OF-100) and I'm wondering what happens when the 12 months runs out.

Can I just continue on the existing plan on a month-to-month basis? Or will I need to select another contract (either same plan or new plan)?

Re: Please Use This Thread To Advise Exetel Of Typos/Errors

i've just noticed some (very minor) inconsistencies in the members' area:
* manage services > wireline
* support > wireline
but elsewhere it says:
* view usage > telephone
* order services > telephone

ie. wireline vs telephone

Himantha, I'm not sure whether you've done anything, but the number has now appeared in the online white pages (it wasn't there yesterday).

Re: exetel notification emails get truncated

thanks dazzled. so it looks like it's more a possible problem on exetel's side, rather than mine.

ps. 5 mins of searching gave me this: http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5322#section-2.1.1

exetel notification emails get truncated

i've noticed that some of the exetel notification emails that get sent to me seem to get truncated at 1000 characters (of html text in the message body). i don't know if this is a sending problem on exetel's side or a problem with my (university based) email system. i'm reporting this in case it is ...

Re: before changing plans: adsl1 -> adsl2

from the link supplied by dazzled, i get the OK (as i expected): ADSL2+ Phone Service Availability Check ADSL2 Service Check Result: Available however, that doesn't tell me whether there are ports available at BLRO. i don't want to change my adsl name and pay the $25 fee unless there are actually po...

before changing plans: adsl1 -> adsl2

I'm thinking of changing plans from a Telstra-based adsl1 plan to an Optus-based adls2 plan (OF-100). It looks like both phone and adsl accounts need to be in the same name to transfer to this plan, but phone is in one name and adsl in another, so I need to change the name for adsl. Is this change d...

http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing_new.php
Included Peak Downloads: 2am-8am+
Included Off Peak Downloads: 8am–2am+

these should be the other way around, ie. peak=8am-2am, offpeak=2am-8am.
