home.exetel.com.au down

It has been reported in the IRC Live Support that the home.exetel.com.au webspace could possibly be down at this time.

It has been reported to staff and is currently being investigated.

Just trying to change my plan from VOIP R to the VOIP S plan with a Brisbane DID, and on the change plan page, it only has VOIP R listed, which is my current service..

Is there any way to get past this?

Afternoon glenn929, Plan R: This doesn't come with a DID so does this mean you are unable to call the VOIP? This is correct. The VoIP will only be utilised for outgoing calls. My VOIP No. is 0933xxxx but if you ring this number I get a number is not connected or something along those lines. The 0933...

Even with the introduction of the SMS function, even a notification SMS to a nominated mobile service after a message has been left might not be a bad idea :)

Let's see what Exetel have to say, though.

Not exactly. For the new new users to Exetel now, the password should now 'password'.

I believe you have to include the area code in every fax you send to make it successful.

I cannot verify this, but it still costs the same and what's stopping you from adding two extra digits to the number anyway?

Looking through past forum posts by the Exetel staff, it is 3 cents for pages up to 10 pages and then any faxes longer than 10 pages will be a timed call.

Hope this helps :)
