Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers

Currently on the "old" 5Gb/unlimited $30 plan with 50c/Gb excess The nearest "new" one is the 30Gb/180Gb $45 plan with $1/Gb excess I guess I'll stay on the old plan which, even with the $10 increase, will be $60 cheaper/year. So thanks for that option! Just one question, if I did change to the new...

Re: Unable to change plan

When I log in to the Member Facilities page and choose Manage Services > ADSL I can see my current plan details but if I choose the Change Service link I just get the option of applying for Useful 'Add On' Bonus Packs , I don't get any option to change my plan. I am currently on the 1500A plan and ...

Re: IP Address change - Discussion

Hi, I have a question - I satisfy all the criteria for the IP change but have noticed that, as of six hours after the supposed change time, i am still at my original IP address. what's happening? HL. Your ADSL circuit needs to be disconnected and then reconnect for you to be assigned the new IP add...

Re: IP Address change - Discussion

Hi, last night I sent the following to businesssupport@exetel.com.au but have had no response so far, and time is growing short for an orderly transition without having to stay up till the wee hours on Thursday morning, which I'm hoping to avoid. IP addresses are obscured here: ======= Subject: Rout...

Re: Black text on Dark Grey Background VERY difficult to read

I would say there's a rendering issue with Mozilla. For one thing, the page renders fine (black text on white) in FF3 and IE7. Also note in your screengrab how the Exetel logo is cut by the white Copyright notice. With FF3 and IE7 that white bar appears at the very bottom of the page and you see th...

Re: Black text on Dark Grey Background VERY difficult to read

I noticed the changes a few weeks ago too. I am using Firefox and I think I had the same issue also but it has since resolved it's self, maybe when I cleared the cache and old cookies it fixed things. Thanks. I cleared my exetel cookies, there were only two (apart from forum cookies, and the forums...

Black text on Dark Grey Background VERY difficult to read

Maybe it's just me, or maybe a .css file for my browser (Mozilla) has changed but .. A couple of weeks ago, the User Facilities pages all changed to black text on a very dark grey background. This is incredibly difficult to read, when the site had been looking so good, and no, I'm not sight impaired...

Re: How to read the 24h charts

24 hour usage chats gives you the ideal of your usage download, when and how many. The timeline is the time when the meter read. The virtical rates(MB) line is the rate that meter read. I don't get it. A 'rate' is so many somethings per some period of time. It's clearly not MB (presumably megabytes...

What's with the new dark grey background on the member's login page?

Black on dark grey is exceedingly hard to read.

Just when I thought the whole site was looking pretty good ..

Coming in late, but congrats to Exetel techs on the very rapid bind upgrade.

Over a week later people were still whinging about some big US ISPs that hadn't.

Congratulations Exetel. Your 'distillation' has produced a fine brew, sticking to your worthy principles while dispelling most if not all of the concerns some people were expressing. I await the opportunity to opt-in. Going by your stated ideals, I'm confident you'll choose wisely which fund/s to su...
