Re: switch from ADSL1 to ADSL2 - dissapointed < 2.5mb/s?

.......... They are usually supplied with modems. Picture at http://www.netcomm.com.au/netcomm-products/microfilters/em1120 For the sync speeds that 'merr1' is getting I would be looking for ADSL2+ filters, not the netcomm(up to 12Mbps). such as this one: ACS 901E2+ ADSL 2+ Inline Filter/Splitter h...

Re: ADSL1 (other provider) to ADSL2 (Exetel)

Apologies if this has already been covered, I've searched the forum without luck. My friend currently has ADSL1 service through Dodo, phone line through Telstra. He wishes to switch to an ADSL2 service through Exetel (continuing the phone service through Telstra), say plan NF/21BYO Line Exetel dont...

Re: Netgear dg834gv.v2 no voip - adsl ok

It looks horribly like you can only have ONE provider just two DID's. Bingo. Thats the correct answer How do I get to install two different VOIP providers? Netgear-->Mitron-->PC Voip... use exetel from the netgear, use MNF from the Mitron and use a Two line phone or another idea, BUT it costs money...

Yes "longer" is the word, especially at the end of the month and weekends

....... Lately I have found that although I have excellent audio on outgoing calls, the audio on the incoming calls is terrible: Have you tried to adjust the audio settings in your Voip equipment? e.g Speaker and/or Microphone settings If the incoming call is from a mobile phone, it may not be your...

Re: Billion 7301 - I gave up

...............I added the MyNetFone special Xmas deal ( too late fore you now!) which gave me an incorrectly labeled ATA device as being a MODEM. You still need a router/modem to use it. Are you sure you have your facts right here? Most ATA's work behind modem/routers What was the brand and model ...

Re: Education on speed issues etc. needed for many of us

If you people think ADSL2+ is an issue - try getting involved with VOIP at the same time - then throw in a "Naked" connection! Assuming you have some technical knowledge(obviously you would not have joined exetel without some), have done many hours researching on forums and the 'net' and used Googl...

Well it should do it on voip too.
Have you enabled 'call waiting' on your NB9W. (see page 27 of your user manual)

Re: 13/1300 numbers

Thankyou for the reply, I understand that part but I was under the impression that the companies covered the additional costs so that there customers just paid a set fee for the call on a landline and a the standard call fee's from a mobile? cheers Hmmm, 'standard call's fee from a mobile' You mean...

Re: Exetel Usage Metre is ridiculous

Why do you need to select 2010 anyway? See 'ManUtdFans' first post and you will see the confusion between the daily use figures on the 1st January. The ability to select 2010 in the "Customer Usage Query" is really only useful once we get to February and beyond. I disagree. If it was available it w...

Re: Exetel Usage Metre is ridiculous

For the second (also good at the last update time) your today's peak time hasn't started yet. You are looking at the current=most recent one. I find 'ManUtdFans' post is very confusing as the second .jpg is of 2009 useage and is not current useage for today. Edit: and of course the website has not ...
