Re: Mail delivery failed messages

Andrew I sent off to 4 different addresses that had been blocked. One was returned but with a different message and then I remember that before one had been with a different carrier so seems same problem there. It started on the same day as the Comcast return. It is Road Runner and this was the mess...

Re: Mail delivery failed messages

Thanks for that Gidget. It will come in handy. I don't often get mail returned until this batch but it will be good to understand the reasons better. I got the first delivery failure re Comcast on 21st. I thought it must have been because I titled my design 'The Popcorn Dude' and the filters didn't ...

Re: Mail delivery failed messages

Thank you Dazzled and Gidget for your quick replies. Okay Gidget I'll leave it to you to forward. I filled out Comcast's request form as per that link shown in my quote and got a reply from them within an hour. They said <quote> We have received your request for removal from our inbound blocklist. A...

Mail delivery failed messages

Not sure if this is in the correct area. In the past week I'm getting all mail returned that goes through Comcast. I contacted them today with a request to remove my IP from the blocked list as I was not sending spam. They replied that my IP is not being blocked and to recheck the return mail. I did...

Re: Using Plan for laptop and mobile

Thanks so much for your reply. I appreciate you pointing out the mobile plans as I missed them. I thought the wireless plans were the only option, probably because once I was in the wireless section I saw the mention of mobiles. I did have my mobile with Exetel a few years ago but plans changed and ...

Using Plan for laptop and mobile

I'm thinking of signing up for the wireless plan. I noticed it says it is for use with computer or mobile. Does than mean it is possible to use the one sim in my laptop and my mobile? I want wireless only as a backup for my normal adsl1 plan and I rarely use my mobile. Only use for emergencies if aw...

Re: Change of plans help needed

Okay, Thanks Corey.
I just put in the application for ADSL2.
I had a look at the wireless plans and if required will apply for the $5 plan with no data.
I presume any transfer of data would cost me 1 1/2 cents per MB.

Re: Change of plans help needed

Thanks heaps Corey in taking the time to respond. I think even with the 6 hours less free time I should be okay on the AAB plan although if the pioneer discount is similar to what I'm presently getting I'd be happy to go for the AAC as the end cost would be similar I think to what I'm paying now and...

Change of plans help needed

I apologise if this is in the wrong section. I wasn't sure where to write it. I'm presently on TL-BA and have been advised this week that it will be increased with another $3 admin fee. I had intended to change plans at the end of this month. Looked at the plans again tonight and see they have chang...

Re: Revised/New ADSL1 Plans

can 100% positively confirm that you will NOT lose your pioneer discount and the $3.00 ADMIN FEE is removed. i changed at start of this month and found this to be so. cheers r☺☺ Thank you for that feedback and confirmation. Must get to change. Would have done it last month but just wasn't sure. Cor...

Re: Revised/New ADSL1 Plans

This is just from what I have seen regarding the Pioneer discount elsewhere on these forums, but I understand that it gets applied to any plan that you are currently on (i.e. it is a customer discount, not a plan discount) Thank you, so I'll look at changing then. Was going to do it last month but ...

Re: Revised/New ADSL1 Plans

Just wanted to get some advise before changing plans please. At present I'm on plan TELE with 8GB peak and 54GB off peak for $40 plus admin fee of $3.00. From reading the comments it seems I must change plans myself in my user section and it appears I would be better off but I have a couple of quest...

Re: Pensioner Broadband Plans?

I am on a single Disability Pension and not too many years off the Aged. It is my only income. Personally I do not think it would be fair to other low income groups to just have a cheap plan aimed at Pensioners nor fair to the pensioners who would prefer a higher plan. I budget to pay for my 8GB ADS...

Re: New home.exetel.com.au server now available for use

I applied for my new web space in the same name as my current one and then attempted to transfer the files from my computer to it using the temporary ftp address via IE which is how I have always uploaded my files. But I just keep getting a message that 'the folder is read-only because the proxy se...
