Re: PAYU plans in user facilities

So do the PAYU plans show up yet? I'm only given the option of ADSL2+ plans from the PTL family.

Re: PAYU plans in user facilities

Actually to push this further, I have no options in the user area to change my ADSL1 plan without changing to ADSL2 and what looks like a line sharing provision. I can't even change to a TL plan. As my home line is on Telstra Homline Budget, this is not an option. My exchange doesn't have Optus and ...

Re: PAYU plans in user facilities

This situation seems a little silly. Someone else can church into these plans with a 6 month commitment for no cost. Can I churn from Exetel to Exetel? Otherwise at the rate Exetel is likely to move on this, I could churn out then churn back 6 months later AND one of my family members with Exetel co...

Re: PSTN call charges using callback with 02 8207 8900

Hi Martin, "should be fixed" or "was fixed"? Does this mean it was a problem but has been fixed, or that it is a problem and will be fixed? I'm trying to work out whether to tell them not to use it for the moment. Was this an Exetel fault or a Telstra fault? If they wanted to pursue a refund, who do...

PSTN call charges using callback with 02 8207 8900

Hi there, My parents-in-law have been using the Exetel VoIP Calling Services and have noticed Telstra charging them for ringing 02 8207 8900 - despite (as it should be) it being engaged every time. While I've encouraged them to contact Telstra, I notice they're not the first ones to notice this. The...

Re: Moving House Pricing v's New Activation + Referral

I'm sure "cheat" is a bit of a strong word to use here. Clearly the referral bonus, as it stands, represents a genuine opportunity for a $60 redemption of the cost of relocating an ADSL service. If that redemption can be made without breaching terms and conditions, it cannot be deemed "cheating". T...

Re: Moving House Pricing v's New Activation + Referral

If you want to cheat the system, that's fine, but our relocation fees will not be changing. Interesting choice of words, no doubt chosen to discourage behaviour that is not in Exetel's best interest, but entirely consistent with your rules and not even against any stated policy that I can find. Eve...

Re: Moving House Pricing v's New Activation + Referral

That entirely defeats the purpose of a referral credit - you are an existing customer. Exactly right - you're current pricing policy entirely defeats the purpose of a referral credit. Let me make this clearer. 1) When someone moves, Exetel charges them (an existing customer) EXACTLY the same activa...

Moving House Pricing v's New Activation + Referral

Hi Sales! It seems to me there is a problem with your pricing for "moving" a service for ADSL1. The moving option provided in the User's area seems very similar to disconnecting at one location and connecting at another. The price is the same as a new service. So it seems the advantages of choosing ...
