hi i changed over from ADSL1 to naked adsl2. i thought "naked" adsl meant that i just don't use exetel phone, but get to keep my existing telstra. i never knew this meant that my existing telstra phone number 02 9808 xxxx would be disconnected. this is not an option for me. it is 100% a requirement ...

i think naked means that you just dont use exetel as your phone service. "Naked" means that the dial tone is completely removed from your phone line and you don't have to pay anybody (Telstra, Optus, Exetel, etc) line rental. The normal process when migrating to Naked ADSL is for your dial tone to ...

hi i applied to change over from exetel ADSL1 to exetel ADSL2
got an email stating
"Your planned cut over date is: 2008-07-07"
does this mean that i wont have any service even ADSL1 between 1 July to 7th July?

can i also ask, i was off my ADSL1 contract period a long time ago, however recently i changed lines speeds on ADSL1, did that renew/reset my contract period again??
