Re: Exetel Provisioning

Could Exetel please action the help desk number #4263730

I emailed a couple of days ago, and got a response that it would be a couple of days.

I want to cancel my old adsl account before the month end, for obvious reasons.

Thanks.

Re: Exetel Provisioning

Ok.

My new service has moved to pending. We move tomorrow. I'd like to close our old ADSL down.

Who do I contact to move my 2 VOIP lines, my emails and my pioneer discount from my old ADSL2 account to my new ADSL2 account. I can PM someone service numbers.

Mike

Exetel Provisioning

Hi, I submitted a new ADSL2 connection on Sunday evening. Got the two emails from Exetel on Sunday night, as expected. But on Monday I got the following email, which indicates I have cutting over. I'm not, its a new connection. Your application has now been released from 'pending' to proceed to acti...

Re: Move ADSL2 service

Another question. I am about to move my ADSL2 (Optus exchange). If I select the move option, it costs me $90. If I select a new service (same plan exactly - OT-100) it costs me $20 to activate. I seem to be better off if I create a new service. It's cheaper to activate and I also get the first 3 mon...

Re: Move ADSL2 service

Another question. I'm looking at the move option in my user facilities. There are two basic types of plans available to me: OT-xxx and OF-xxx. The main difference is that the OF-xxx plans include 3,000 minutes worth of FREE calls. Do the OF-xxx plans include a physical line into the residence, or is...

Move ADSL2 service

I'm about to move. I've had ADSL with exetel for 6-7 years now. Love it. I currently have Exetel's naked ADSL2 through an Optus exchange. I want to move to a similar plan, and recently saw that when one goes with Optus, you dont have to first get a Telstra line. If I select the "move option" in the ...

Re: Off Peak Allowances

I'll be moving in about 5 weeks. and I have some questions. I don't suppose I can order the service now for installation at a later date. and therefore get the first 3 months free. I guess I cant because I'll need a valid number. I'm currently on naked optus provided ADSL2. I notice that you don't o...

Re: DNS down?

Dazzled,

This morning is was purely Exetel's DNS, but I was getting dropouts everywhere. Now I'm using 220.233.0.4 and 8.8.8.8

It's been fine since mid morning.

DNS down?

I've been having DNS issues this morning, since about 10:30am.

Changed to google DNS and everything is fine. You may want to check it.....

Re: Change pickup messagebank

Thanks Gidget. Strangely, in that section referenced above, it had disable voice messages, when it was already diverting to voice messages. Anyway, I selected the longest time possible, in the hope that the old settings are now overwritten. I'll test tomorrow when the family isnt asleep. Thanks for ...

Re: Change pickup messagebank

I'm not talking about the messagebank I have here (my answering machine). I dont use that part of the phone. It's exetel's online messagebank that...
