Re: VOIP on Iphone

if you're using push to receive calls it shouldn't be an issue as it uses the APNS to get the phone to ring, that's something Apple control the functionality of, 3rd party's don't have that kind of control over it, if you have it running in the background constantly on that may be a different issue...

Re: VOIP on Iphone

Another question. With Acrobits, do I have to go into the app every time I change my IP address with the outside world - So every time I enter or leave my home wireless network?????? I say this because I've been out and come home and the second I walk in the door and my iPhone picks up the wireless ...

Re: VOIP on Iphone

Hi Jokiin, I do have another VOIP # setup on the router. I have 2 Exetel VOIP lines, and one is registered on the router. The Acrobits number was on the router, now there is no record of it at all. It's only on the iPhone. The thread at Whirlpool for the Router is http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/foru...

Re: VOIP on Iphone

I'm using Acrobits on the iPhone. Isnt the router irrelevant? I've been talking about the Acrobits program on the iPhone the...

Re: VOIP on Iphone

Hi Jokiin, I bought this Acrobits a week ago, upon reading your praise of it over at Whirlpool (or someone with your user name there). It was working well until last night when I saw this post and decided to try and get it working better. I changed a few settings as per the above posts and it stoppe...

Re: OCV2OO

Hi there,

For some reason my old forum account is no longer active (???)

I want to change to OCV200. There is a chance I will move within 12 months. Just confirming there are no charges for leaving within 12 months. Obviously I'll join up with Exetel at the new place.

Mike Turner.

Re: When to submit a moving request

I did this last year - ADSL2, and got the net at my old place disconnected far earlier that I had anticipated, despite me specifying a date for transition. (it was almost as soon as the Move option was available in user facilities) I think I tried to get the new place up and running before I moved, ...

Re: The Exetel 6-year club

I've been with Exetel some time. I love the service. Is there anything we pioneers can do to give back what you give to us? For example, I schedule my downloads to begin at 3am or 4am, cause that's the lowest usage. Doesnt make any difference to me. They are all finished when I wake up. Open to sugg...
