Hi There, I have good and bad news regarding my switch to the Optus Bundled ADSL 2+ (OT100). Good news is that as per Exetel last update on the ETA date, 02/09/2011 (today), it seems the work is in progress. Now that is where the bad news starts, I have no ADSL connectivity since early this morning....

Optus GPRS

Hi There,
I have been unable to initiate a GPRS connection with Optus in the whole morning. Is anyone aware of any issues?

Can anyone confirm which is the outgoing mail server ? Is it supposed to be smtp.exemail.com.au ?

I am not sure about the exchange, but my point is I have this line since November 2007 and it has never been so slow as now.

Hi Dazzle, I have LCD monitor, there is no contact between network or line cable to any power cable/device. I can't bring the attenuation rate down. I don't know exactly the distance from the switch, but I know it is far. I live in Telopea, my exchange is in Dundas. I have this ADSL2 line for over 2...

Hi Dazzle, I changed modem's location and tried to minimise network cable contact with power cable. ADSL speed still too slow. Peak speed was just over 2mbps. Unbearably slow speed

Since January my ADSL2 speed has been deteriorating dramatically. It used to be near 4mbps, now it is around 1.8mbps, that means I can't event think of watching videos. I found out that the connection works with Mini Opera bur does not work with Palm's native Blazer web browser. I am trying to figure out why it stopped working since this morning for no apparent reason.
