Re: VOIP call - poor voice quality while streaming
If you have the manual (http://netcomm.com.au/__data/assets/file/0004/32989/NB5Plus4W_UG.pdf), QoS is on p45 (Serious geekspeak warning) Edit: Netcomm's idea of help is this piece of garbage: http://kb.netcomm.com.au/kb/print.asp?id=940&Lang=1 And their FAQ at http://www.netcomm.com.au/products/ads...

Naked ADSL VOIP - 25c connection charge?
hi
I found the following text on the member's page after log in
under my ADSL service details at very bottom;
0.25 CONNECTION CHARGE APPLIES TO MOBILE CALL, NATIONAL CALL, INTERNATIONAL CALL
I believe for VOIP calls, there is no flag fall charged.
Can Exetel staff confirm this?
Thanks,

I even have the new service number that will be activated on this date. I am wanting to sign up one of the Exetel naked DSL plans. However my question i...

Re: Admin fee increase
Personally I am getting tired of these frivolous complaints, moans and groans from people that have got nothing better to do. As you can see these neverending posts, we are complaining, moaning and groaning because we don't like price increase and isn't this the place for customers expressing how t...

Re: SMS Via Web Messages may only sent via Exetel IP Addresses
Yesterday we became aware that it was possible to hack in to a user's account/user facilities and then activate an SMS service to send (in one case over 100,000) before we stopped it. As this happened to more than one account we had to, immediately, take actions to stop that incidence of abuse whic...

Re: SMS Via Web Messages may only sent via Exetel IP Addresses
I just realised this restriction today at my office. and I join others here with strong objection to this restriction.
At least Exetel should give us an option to choose if we want to restrict or not.
I request Exetel management reconsider this function for their customers.

Re: Set up info on Voip/fring via Mobile/HSPA
How about SAMSUNG Z170 3G? It is now very cheap online.http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/7467
This uses 3G Network UMTS 2100, but not sure if this means HSPA or not.
can I use this Z170 for Exetel VOIP service via Movile/HSPA?
Thanks,

Re: Set up info on Voip/fring via Mobile/HSPA
Sorry to ask this question, but all models on the drop down menu in 'Get Fring Via PC' under VOIP>VOIP Fring can be used for Exetel Voip via Mobile/HSPA? (I don't think they can.) I understand you need a 3G mobile to use Fring/Voip via Mobile but just wonder why this drop down menu lists non 3G mobi...

Re: nb5plus4
I am using Netcomm NB5Plus4W and having the same problem, but tried the following advice on http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=713222 and it seems it's been working. Especially, pay extra attention on the comments from the user 'Derek@home'. However I think that the way I do mine sho...
