One last option you have is to try a aftermarket antenna. These are a hit and miss option, they work for some not for others. Seeing you are able to pick up some signal it may be worth a try. More info here http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/475168.html Cheers Scott

This user is EXEUNWIRED. what i dont understand is the Airport Express link bit. If using Exetels Unwired service from home,i dont see the need for any Airport Express set up. The wabbit should be connected straight to the computer using a Cat 5 cable with PPPOE

Re: No wireless connection

Hi, I have used Exetel Wireless Internet for a few years, recently I have moved to another place, I have checked the signal availability and the map indicates that area is covered as well. However, I cannot receive any signal there, I have tried in all the rooms, even on the balcony but no success....

Your speed check looks fine. At those speeds shown by your test im able to get 55kbs out of limewire. More than likely the trouble lies with settings at your end. Not being a Mac user its hard for me to give any further advice. I suspect it may be caused by old settings you have from your last ISP o...

Limewire speed problem

Hi Ryanccnz, I am a EXEUNWIRED user. I was on 256 and getting around 30kbs and have recently changed to 512kbs where i am getting about 55 kbs on Limewire. I believe these speeds are normal for our connection types. My speeds sometimes peak at 67kbs but i believe this is due to ''hitting'' the P2p c...

How about qualifying customers can nominate to pay for the service and the revenue is donated to one of Exetel's flora/fauna projects in the customer's name. That way, the customer gets a tax benefit as does the environmental project. Interesting idea - I'll see how logistically possible that is. I...

Thanks for the reply. I must say Unwireds service has been great since a few minor issues i was having last Sept. I also hope Unwired move to WiMAX soon,it sounds very promising with the speeds advertised.

What is the future for Exetels wireless broadband.

Hi, was reading this article with great interest http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,23129515-643,00.html It leads me to the following question. What are Exetels intentions with its Wireless service? Does Unwired seem to be a more viable option for the future now,or are there other op...
