Yes, you are on Optus ADSL1 infrastructure.
Interesting, I didn't know that.

Re: Increases To Many ADSL1 Plan Allowances

This morning my TELL account user pages told me I had 54gig, now this afternoon it says 48gig.
I'm puzzled...?

Was this morning an error? and it's really 48gig

Re: ADSL1 1500/256 Plan Changes

It's close to the end of the month so I was checking my downloads, and was surprised to see this when I logged in.
Thought it might be a typo, but checking here assures me it's true...very happy user..:)
Every month you seem to do something more to prove to me your the best ISP there is!

The usage meter is only updated once a day instead of twice a day now. Same here, it's 10pm Sun and there is nothing showing for this mornings 'offpeak' like there used to be before the changes. So I don't know how much I downloaded during that period, therefore I don't know how much I can download...

Changing plan question

Have applied for a change from a ADSL1 512k plan to 1.5m plan.
When it happens do I have to turn off the router for a while?
Or does it just happen and I'll suddenly notice the speed change?

Do I need to turn it off for any set length of time?

Changing IP Address

If I choose to change my IP address in the user facilities, is it an automatic instant thing? or does it happen the next working day when someone has to do it manually?

Am I notified by email that it's done?
What else do I have to then do when it's done?

My question also.
I want to use my mobile, but what extra cost if any, will I incur more than I would using my landline?

Fantasic!

Exetel just keeps getting better!

I wouldn't use this much, but I sure welcome the possibility to do it this way.

One more reason to stay with Exetel.
