Re: Termination of service

Surely there's been a mistake. I just got an email notifying me of termination also with no explanation. There must be some explanation for this?

Re: Any known issues at NRYD exchange/area?

Thanks,

I got the email, just going through some more tests now. I've taken the filter out and will wait to see if it drops again soon.

Scott.

Any known issues at NRYD exchange/area?

Greetings, Over the last week I've been seeing fairly frequent drop outs on my connection. Most times the ADSL sync is still good and showing connected, but no data comes to/from the external connection (e.g. pinging my Exetel network gateway address 220.233.1.152). Other times it will drop sync com...

Re: Lots of traffic from 220.233.2.202

The dailymail? No, but that's a rather unusual leap to make isn't it? Looking at the trace you posted I'm guessing that the dailymail is also cached through the Akamai network and just has a reverse lookup matching to it as well. Matching the download traffic against my hard drive IO it looks like i...

Lots of traffic from 220.233.2.202

I'm currently seeing a large amount of data downloading to my computer from 220.233.2.202. This resolves in DNS as just a static Exetel address.

I'm wondering if this is actually an Exetel Akamai cache and my machine is downloading Microsoft updates or something?

Re: cant scroll pages on touch devices (or desktop)

You can't turn java off on most tablets or mobiles, and while I'm sure that is where the problem lies, I believe the onus is on the web developer to create a site that works, not on the users to have to adjust or turn common standard settings on and off just to suit each particular site. And while I...

cant scroll pages on touch devices (or desktop)

Greetings, I'm trying to browse the mobile plans page (for example) using both my phone and tablet and I can't scroll the page up at all. On my phone if I set it to "mobile mode" for the browser it seems to detect and give a mobile friendly version of the page that I can scroll using touch, but if I...

Re: Porting away, waiting for Exetel to release

Never mind... just got a call saying it has just been released.

Now however there is another issue and I have no mobile service at all. That is not an Exetel issue as far as I know though.

Porting away, waiting for Exetel to release

Greetings, I'm porting three services away from Exetel to Optus. Two of the services have ported fine, but according to Optus one of them is still waiting for Exetel to release it. I've been waiting since last Tuesday and was told last Thursday that it had been scheduled to happen today. Can someone...

Also, you might want to change your forum username/handle unless you meant to use what looks like your phone number and/or are happy to have it made public?

Re: False Excess Spend Message and Mobile Blocked UGH!

My current usage spend seems to have reset back to expected levels now, so just hoping it was an erroneous report that hasn't triggered an actual service block.
