Re: Practical alternatives for managing off-peak and congestion

Going even further, you could have a rating system similar to insurance: If your downloads are well managed (define by some suitable metric) you move to a "Rating 1" classification, giving you bonus downloads, or bonus off-peak time. If your downloads are not well managed you move down the ratings, ...

Re: Change In Off Peak/Peak Times

i dont think this is the answer what needs to be done and its pretty hard is either 2 things put up your extra gig to about $15 a gig that way all these loaders will think twice and the second thing which i think be better charge upload as counting as download limit between 12am to 1am that way mayb...

Re: Change In Off Peak/Peak Times

On balance 1) is the most likely because, as far as we can tell, the people who complain about 'slow downs at midnight are overwhelmingly Optus ADSL2 users (this doesn't mean that Powertel ADSL2 and Telstra ADSL1 users aren't affected) just that the 'noise' made by complainers appears to be predomin...

Re: port forwarding

i fix it funny thing my ip addy is 192.168.1.1 so i had a port checking program on here i check if my port was open and it said your port 192.168.1.2 isnt open, so i put that instead of the 192,168,1,1 and it worked .now im wonder where it says should i change it to 192.168.1.2 instead of 192.168.1.1?
