Re: Sending SMS

Send/Receiving SMS from HSPA: 1. Visit https://www.exetel.com.au/sendsms using the HSPA SIM and simply enter the destination number and message and click Send. 2. The sending number is from HSPA mobile number. 3. You can receive SMS from your inbox via mobile SIM. I tested it while logged into my "...

Re: Sending SMS

When I got my HSPA C3 service up and going yesterday, one of the first things I did was to (successfully) send an sms from my laptop using the exesms software. I have also been able to use a specially prepared "sms" webpage which uses exetels soap to send sms messages. So its possible to send a sms ...

Re: Call Delay with Linksys SPA2102

Not only do dial plans permit or reject specific numbers being dialled, they can also modify dialled numbers. For example, in my dial plan I have: |<:07>[345]xxxxxxx| This means that if I dial an 8-digit number starting with 3,4 or 5, the ATA will send it to Exetel with 07 added to the front of the ...

Hi Mark,

I downloaded the web page and tried it on my PC.

It asks for "default.aspx".

Where do I get that from?

Re: Possible New Concept ADSL Plans

If I were you I would work out the costs of each of Exetel services she would use and present it to her. I agree. I plan to do that when I receive her usages, costs etc from her. I have all but my landline with Exetel now and very happy with the service and cost. I use Exetel for voip, mobile, ADSL...

Re: Possible New Concept ADSL Plans

To be interesting these plans obviously need some better pricing I was speaking to my sister just today about moving to Exetel from Telstra. She has an account with only 400 mb/month before extra charges. She says her friends send her "brag (grandchildren) pictures and she constantly exceeds her li...

Re: Call Delay with Linksys SPA2102

I have Exetel's Naked ADSL2. Everything works perfectly in regards to internet and making/recieving calls, however with my VOIP I find incoming calls ring almost immediately as per normal, but when I dial any number [local, 13, 1300, mobile, STD] there is a 9 - 12 seconds delay of silence before it...

Re: Possible New Concept ADSL Plans

I like the concept. ... and lower monthly access charges would make them attractive to me. Maybe if you defined who your prospective customers would be? For example, if you were targeting customers of other ISPs who have "honeymoon" accounts (with low capacities (200MB!) and high usage charges) - yo...

Re: Global Roaming

I have just returned from holidaying in UK. I had asked for global roaming on my Exetel mobile before I left in July.... and my account pages show it as being "on"..... .... but although I tried on many occasions, Vodaphone UK would not recognise my mobile service (nor would any other uk service). Re: VOIP with MyNetFone

Which one would you suggest, I'm new to all this and have no clue which to get or from where to get, Thanks for the help I use a Sipura 2000..... but I bought it 4 years ago. It gives me 2 phone lines/accounts in the one ATA.... and works well. Nowadays, the equivalent would be a Linksys 2100. Ther...

Re: VOIP Dropping Calls

I have been having the same problem since last Friday. This is a "first" for me in 5 years of using Voip. I use a Netcom NB6Plus4W modem and a Sipura 2000 (for exetel voip) and a Netgear 613 (for MNF voip) and both ATA's have had the same problem. So I reckon it must be my (Exetel) ADSL1 service.......

USB Stickphone

I noticed Harris Technology had Freshtel 4030 Stickphones at $9 each - so bought one to play with. I successfully loaded some other softphones (including X-ten pro) onto the stick. ..And was able to make a call using my Exetel Voip account. Now to go to somebody else's place and try it out there! (M...
