Re: Mediawiki corrupted

I have done most of the upgrade to Version 1.27.4, which is the latest LTS version. There appears to be one more step to complete the upgrade and that is to run the upgrade script http://home.exetel.com.au/lkk/mrbrunz/maintenance/update.php. However, I get the following message when I try to run it ...

SSL Certificates for free webspace

Google Chrome marks the login page to my mediawiki site on my free webspace as "Not secure".
Are there any thoughts toward being able to a certificate such as those provided by Lets Encrypt with this?

Re: Mediawiki corrupted

I have successfully exported all my Mediawiki pages and a sample have been successfully imported to another instance of Mediawiki hosted elsewhere. So my plan of action is to now attempt to upgrade the corrupted installation from Mediawiki Version 15 to Version 30 as advised by the Mediawiki site an...

Mediawiki corrupted

Since about Jan 22 my Mediawiki installation on my personal webspace is not working correctly. The webpage body is empty, though on viewing the edit page the source is still there. It seems to have happened about the time the webspace was not available to allow for maintenance. I tried to attach scr...

Re: Free Webspace - Calculating Used Amount / Space Remainin

OK. Mosheh's webpage works, thanks.

As no-one has mentioned using php disk_total_space ( string $directory ) I suppose we don't have permissions to use this command.

Re: Free Webspace - Calculating Used Amount / Space Remainin

Bump.

I am wondering if, after nearly five years, whether there is a simpler method to show Webspace used.

Re: PHP memory limits

Thanks. Under PHP requirements it states memory_limit MediaWiki needs sufficiently memory to work. The minimal limit should be something like 20 Mo, but if you want MediaWiki to work correctly, consider using at least 50 Mo. So for Exetel's 40MB limit there is some uncertainty. I am still in the moo...

Re: PHP memory limits

Thanks Steve. I will have to abandon the trial of Tiki Wiki here and look for another cheap/free hosting service. I can't find the PHP memory limits stated in the paid hosting description. I suppose I may as well drop the database if I need the storage space. Is there a facility that shows how space...

PHP memory limits

I am trying out Tiki Wiki in my free webspace to see if it provides the functionality needed by a voluntary organisation. The installation has mostly been straightforward but some pages will not load. During the installation there was a message that PHP memory was limited to 48M The Tiki Wiki site g...
