Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes

Do we have a choice to pay extra for exceeding our peak allocation? Yes was the answer. Have a look at page two of this thread. Can't find the answer on page 2. I am confused. 1) Will there be a choice to pay extra money (for exceeding peak allocation) or shaping to 512k? How much will the charges ...

Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes

I am not interested in shaping at 512k. Do we have a choice to pay extra for exceeding our peak allocation?

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)

Unlimited broadband plans are a norm in developed countries such as Hong Kong and Singapore. The service providers sell plans based on fast, faster or super fast speeds at unlimited capacity. Comparing that and what's available locally is a shocker.

ADSL2 Plans - BYO

Hi there

Do I need to be the Telstra telephone account owner to sign up for the Exetel BYO plans? Can it be different people in the same household?

Will there be any issue if the Telstra plan is the HomeLine Budget?

Thank you.

Re: New ADSL Plans For July 1st 2009

I don't mean specific to this offer. Just the idea of having unlimited downloads during off peak hours from Exetel. That and hopefully someday unlimited download for all times in the near future (I wish) AAPT has an unlimited download plan for offpeak period. Thats fantastic! http://aapt.com.au/serv...

Unlimited broadband downloads is whats happening in countries in Hong Kong and Singapore. Hopefully Exetel can do this unlimited offering someday.

Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period

Disagree. There is no differentiation with other providers if you change to 2am.

Re: Increased ADSL2 Plan Allowances

Hi there

I currently have a IncPhone A plan, could I downgrade it to IncPhone Z plan? I don't mind having the 12Gb daytime download and pay lesser for it.

Will I be charged any fee if I am still within the 1 year contract? Will it restart the contract period?

Thanks

I disagree to the rise of international SMS charge to more than 300% increase. Unacceptable.

Re: ADSL2+ Without Telephone Service

Thanks for reply. In other words, I can only subscribe to ADSL1 plans right? I can't change my telephone line service for contractual reasons. Please advise, thanks.

ADSL2+ Without Telephone Service

Hi there

I had a look at the prices for ADSL2+ services, but it shows only IncPhone packages. What about a price list for those without a telephone service? Can Exetel provide ADSL2+ services on an existing telephone line that belongs to another company?

Thanks

Hi CoreyPlover

Thanks for your reply. I didn't know that the web based speed test is not so accurate.

Will give it a try over weekend as I am not usually home in the afternoon. Would it have any difference if it was tested over the weekend in the afternoon?

Thanks again!

Hi there This is what I got from Speedtest: http://www.speedtest.net/result/238577128.png Is this speed normal or better than normal? I've kept a log of my speed from my modem homepage since I started with Exetel earlier this month: Initial Speed Rate (Kbps): Down: 10059 Up: 506 7 Feb 2008 Line Rate...
